Not that I'm doubting you or anything, but that makes no sense since its short for ####hold which is defined as a submissive male who enjoys watching his wife having sex with another man.
Now we know that anti-semites and white sepremists are morons, that's just the nature of evolution, but then its a they are using a race genetic term to insult a race?
So we have to wonder if these bar morons are parroting a term and knowing that its not a political term but a racist term, or they're truly stupid and its almost like calling a black person a cracker because they don't know what the word means.
Are we making up a hate crime here based on a politically diversion term? Like I've said, because I've heard of the term, and looked at the urban dictionary and a bunch or articles and there's nothing racial or anti-semetic connotations to the term that I can see. But as far as I can see a black a white a jew, a chinese man or a pakistani man can all be ####s. It would be tough however for a woman to be a ####.

The problem that people who were/are anti-Trump is that if you belittle and ostracize everyone who supported Trump...you drive more energy into their efforts. Its counter productive.
Listen, engage, try to convince people with reasonable perspective...frothy rage and insults that ostracize others WON'T HELP
Also, I think that the only reasonable way of ditching Trump is funding and supporting legal efforts that could lead to impeachment (Trump U, sexual assault trials)...THOSE are realistic opportunities to change things.
Protesting the electoral college AFTER the result is foolish (everyone knew that this outcome of was possible) and yelling about Trump's personal issues is a waste of time (It's been said people).
Dumb ass tactics, IMHO

I explained the racial connotations but for some reason my post got deleted. Suffice it to say that the definition has changed owing to usage in a particular industry.

This is the best: http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2016/1...trump-victory/
As for the gigantic rally, where were you people before the election with your huge public demonstration? Not that it would have accomplished anything, might even have motivated more Trump voters to come out.

Yeah.
I mean I completely understand the distaste towards his issues/opinions.
I really do not understand what it is they are protesting however. He isn't going to change who he is because of a rally...hell he loves rallies.
Maybe he takes notice and decides to appease them on a couple things but even that's unlikely.
So what is it they are protesting? Democracy? I mean are they really trying to give the middle finger to 50 million fellow Americans who voted for him?
It all just seems like a tremendous waste of energy if not a complete waste of time. Whats to be accomplished?

And you know that everyone who voted for Trump is laughing even harder than you are. That was exactly the reaction they wanted from exactly the people they wanted it from.

It's impossible to exaggerate how infantilized higher education has become. Imagine the astonishment of students who attended college in the 40s and 50s under the GI bill if they hopped in a time machine.
There's clearly some kind of cultural sea change going on here. Either people are growing up far more fragile than any other cohort of adults in history (if so why?), or there's some strange cult of misery sprouting up among institutions catering to the affluent.
Is this just a North American thing, or do we see public rituals of extreme sensitivity and distress among young adults in China, Brazil, Poland, etc?

Wow...I don't know how to feel about this...I know its important to have support for trauma...on the other hand, the University isn't doing these students or society any favours if they are coddling them (the world ain't gonna give you Coco when you aren't happy with the cards you are dealt)

I think that part of it can be blamed on technology and social platforms, where its the norm to put your feelings out into the interwebs and expect people to care...keep that up for a decade or two and voila...a generation that thinks that there feelings are waaaaaaaayyyy more important that they really are..
#irony for putting this up on the interwebz

It's just so absurd i find it hard to comprehend.
These are "adults" right? In one of the finest institutions around....and they need tissues and hot chocolate to deal with an election result?
I know every generation hears it from their elders, but in this case it couldn't be more appropriate.
What the hell is wrong with the youth (in this case at any rate) today?
Stunning.

They really think a Trump victory tour with rallies is a good idea? In what possible way could they be a positive thing?
It's one thing to have the crowd screaming to hang Clinton or turn and boo the media at a partisan campaign rally, but what will the crowd do if Trump tries to stop the chants saying America has to come together?
Would protesters still get harassed by the crowd as Trump tells them to 'get them out of here'? If there's protesters in the streets now, could you imagine how many would attend a rally to protest?
He'd have to have a pretty darned good speech for the events to become unifying events.

The Trump administration thread has the potential to surpass the E=NG in terms of dumpster-fieriness (Trumpster Fire?)

As you say, every generation not only says that about their generation's youth, but every generation thinks that this time it's different and that there really is something wrong.
For thousands of years. Some of the earliest writing ever discovered is clerical type stuff and elders complaining about the youth.

My guess is within a year we will get to see Trump impeached by the Republicans in an attempt to get Pence the presidency while the Democrats defend him, this is going to be weird.

True. But that does not mean that every generation is the same. They do change. Take one of those 20 year olds and put them in a college a century ago (or god forbid, a mine or a pulp mill) and they'd curl up into a ball whimpering.
The general trend since WWII has been towards greater sensitivity but less resilience and self-reliance. Studies that have looked at students since the 60s have found more tolerance and empathy today than 50 years ago, but also more anxiety and narcissism. It remains to be seen if young adults - and society in general - will be better off if that trend persists.

Just before Hallowe'en, a Florida university set up a counselling and wellness center for any of their students traumatized by Hallowe'en costumes.
http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2016/1...ween-costumes/
so yeah, not only are they more fragile but it seems they are encouraged to be so.

Good post. I just am hesitant to judge because different doesn't necessarily mean bad. Doesn't mean good either, and even figuring out if society is "better" or "worse" is hard.
Plus if anyone is to blame for today's youth it's us, since we're the ones that formed the society that created them.
