Does Sport Select let you bet on just one game? Easiest money ever.

A lot of the Flames games have been easy to predict this year.
The Flames tend to do very well against certain teams, while playing awful against others.

Would be nice

Please take Chaisson off the top line and try anyone else. Thank-you.

Hmm, what to do, what to do...
If this doesn't show that Cameron's ass needs to be fired right efffing now, I don't know what does. Cameron has been a big black hole of suck to this team and if the powers that be cannot see that and rectify it then I have lost all hope in this team.

Don't know if it's already been discussed but I need to see more from Shinkaruk tonight or he needs to go back to Stockton.

This was his spot to lose and IMO he's been very underwhelming.

As much as many on the roster seem lost, he's compounding that with refusing to engage.

I'm sure "the system" plays a bit of a role but for the most part he's done very little with the puck and even less without.

I keep reading and hearing that Cameron's powerplay is crap and to be honest , I cringe everytime I see Powerplay and Cameron in the same sentence.

Therefore, out of respect for the word «Powerplay» please never ever use it in association with Cameron.

The better term should be «Sour play» when discussing what Cameron is trying to accomplish with our players. cause it leaves me bitter every single time!

As for the game tonight, I have a hunch that our best players will be better as these guys have pride and are pros. Flames by 3.

They will do what they always do win this game handedly and string together a couple good games bringing them back to 500 only to lose the next 4 or 5 after that

Agreed. The callups this year and last year have been underwhelming. Most positive you hear is "didn't look out of place" which considering teams record is faint praise.

I'm just hoping for some compete level and a close win or loss. As long as they aren't embarrassed on home ice it will be a success in my eyes and progress to at least being a bottom feeder that will make good teams earn the points.

Shnikaruk shouldn't have been the top 6 call up in any event. It should have been Klimchuk.

I have a strange fascination for tonight's game. I think the team hasn't hit bottom yet and we're due for a few more games before that happens.

Oh yeah, it's really bad. The Flames are lucky they have a dedicated season ticket base (which is also starting to fall off) from the desire to have rights to playoffs, or else we'd see some ugly numbers.

Right now we're seeing 1000-1500k short of a sellout announced most nights with about 4-5k actual empty seats. Without a lingering but eroding season ticket base we could easily be seeing 11-13k games. There's virtually no market for walk up ticket sales right now, like none.

We want 10?

Could be one of those and the fans start cheering for a blowout against the Flames.

So frustrated right now, watching them play just ruins my mood. Maybe best to not watch.

As for Shinkaruk, I think that was the right choice, he has the resume and is as ready as he's ever going to be. I'd like to see him played in situations that actually allow him to utilize his skills. Skill players should play on the powerplay. If they fail on the powerplay, then you cut their regular ice time back. I never liked the play well on the fourth line then we will play you in scoring opportunities theory.

Klimchuk has shown like 10 games of being an effective 200 foot AHL player. He's just starting to "figure it out" at that level - recalling him now would be stupid. I'm glad the organization is showing some patience with those guys. It's about their development.

Shinkaruk has proven he can consistently perform at the AHL level, he's earned his call-up.

i'm told Klimchuk was put in a defensive role last season to develop and seems to have put it all together this year.

I'm willing to give Klumchuk the shot given he was leading the team in almost all offensive categories when called up.

Shinkaruk has done very little with this shot. Put him back down to develop. Show the patience with him. In the mean time, try someone else.

If Klimchuk doesn't work, then i'm open to Prybl, Eat Bread or even Jankowski on the wing

Anyone know if you need club seats to go to Duttons before the game?

Is Eat Bread just a hilarious autocorrect or did I miss a sweet new nickname?
