After going to the game last week in LA, and the game against a depleted Dallas team I can't bring myself to watch this product tonight so sold my tickets.
Going to watch a movie or something. I sure hope they prove me wrong and this is the start of a turn around. However not sure that's the reality tonight.
3-2 Rangers

I have no faith in this team right now. Johnny is starting to look more like his old self, but other than that I haven't seen any positive signs that this team can turn it around.
6-2 Rangers.

Wow were tickets cheap to this game. Got lower bowl seats by the bench for 100 bucks.

Flames give up 5 or goals a safe bet.
Flames lose the special teams battle is a sure thing.

Can you please give Cameron some verbal abuse from me every failed PP?

Question for Gulutzan for after hours:
Glen, game after game we hear about how the other team was more prepared than yours. Who is to blame for that? The captain, you or the GM?
Also, the special teams are bottom of the NHL. Why? You have quality offensive pieces for the PP (Johnny, Mony) and great defensive pieces on the PK (Backlund, Frolik, Gio, Brodie).

Some home ice stats so far this year...
Record: 2-5-0
Outscored 27-21
PP goals: 0, 0-26, 0.0%, 30th
PK goals: 11, 11-30, 63.3%, 30th (at least 1 PK goal in each game)
Total special teams: 0.0 + 63.3% = 63.3%, 30th (100% is average)
Oh, and 1 SH goal against - yes, the Flames have been outscored 1-0 on the PP at home so far this year!
EN goals: 4 (against), 30th
Even strength score: 21-11 in Calgary's favour
Hmm, what to do, what to do...

I'd sooner see:
Giordano - Brodie
Kulak - Hamilton
Jokipakka - Engelland
Wideman

Good luck getting that question on the air. The questions asked on after hours are fluff questions. I will say that its probably going to be the last time in a long time that they ask GG back for after hours. I have to presume that the person, or persons, they hire to read through all of the tweets will tell their supervisors that they had to read through 10,000 questions of coach getting ripped to find 5 questions sutaible for the air.

He's not getting fired any time soon. If he does end up getting fired, it will be Cameron replacing him.

Made a post yesterday that i had a feeling this would happen. Don't like it, but when your PP is giving you goose eggs, you have to try anything. Going to be a long night for whoever is paired with Wideman. NY has a lot of speed in the top 9 and are going to be burning by Wideman all night.

Well folks, I haven't missed a game in 2 seasons. Tonight I've made a fairly easy decision to skip this game in favour of UFC 205.

with Wideman in, Brodie has to go back to the left side, so...?
Giordano - Wideman
Brodie - Hamilton
Kulak - Engelland
I fricking hate Giordano - Wideman as a pair

Jokipakka was kinda crap last game, so I can understand Wideman in.
But yeah we're doomed
