He wasn't complaining; just the opposite. He said it in the context that he expected a short introductory meeting and they ended up talking about transition and domestic and foreign policy issues for an hour and a half. He then said he looks forward to future meetings and would want Obama to provide counsel with him after he's out of office.

Seems to me he's trying to send signals to people that he's not actually that crazy and victory speech Trump will be President Trump, not campaign Trump.

People like to hold politicians in contempt. But being an elected official with any real portfolio is a gruelling job. Long hours, endless meetings, little free time. You always have to be on, always available, always personable. It takes a certain temperament. And I don't think Trump has it.

That's not quite true, the Nazi leadership hated Jews, Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union but had a grudging respect for the US in terms of its wealth, resources, industry and risk-taking can-do spirit. Nazi Germany was in a way trying to build a country that was the US (without the democracy and diversity) and would likely be OK with the US if it stayed neutral through WW2 and allowed Germany to build an Eurasian empire. At least until nuclear weapons came into play.

Ah the Ego argument. He will more likely cut bait if he isn't the most popular President ever than run again. Then blame everyone else for not listening to him.

Except for the decadent mongrel-race part.

So what was the voter turnout anyway? 50%?

And Myron Ebell for the EPA?

I think I'd be ok with a climate change skeptic as head of the EPA if their mandate was to actually bring forward evidence of it being a Chinese hoax.

Ivanka maybe, but Michelle is never getting involved in politics again. She saw first hand what her husband went through, and saw pretty close what Hillary went through. No way she wants any part of that ####.

Sorry but that's not true. Nazi Germany & the United States were political enemies in wartime but in Mein Kampf and other writings, Hitler clearly states a preference and admiration to working with the anglo-saxon countries like the UK and ultimately America to propel his racial theories. In fact, his personal beliefs were formed and reinforced by the writings of the American writer Madison Grant and his Nordic theory. The imagery of the American state doesn't do anything to further their racial beliefs while the imagery of Nazism clearly states their intents.

I think it is safe to assume that time travel will never exist. Otherwise someone from the future would have prevented this.

Think about this:

The Confederate Flag was Flown as an enemy flag to the United States of America. For many states in the US, it's the only foreign flag that's ever been flown on their soil.

It is the symbol of a treasonous attack on the government of the People's United States and is proudly flown by some of the most vociferous defendants of the 'ideal' of America.
I would suggest it is because, for white supremacists, they place higher importance on racial "purity" than they do national identity. To them the Confederacy and the Nazis had it right, and America in its current form does not.

It exists. But you can only travel forward at a rate of 1 second per second.

Or maybe they know how it turns out and ensured it happened.

Maybe Trump's election somehow became pivotal in creating time travel

Or there are just too many alternate worlds, as John Titor found out when he went back into our world, which differed ever so slightly from his.

Either that or we're all just stuck in the Time Cube.
