This is the least excited I have been for a game in a long time. One win where they look good will change that, but man, this season has been a disappointment so far. I still believe that they can make the playoffs, but they had better get hot soon.
Flames win 4-3

Can you imagine, after 3 days off, if after the game we hear:
"We just weren't prepared for this game tonight. They came out hard, and we didn't match it."

With Dallas getting smacked around by the Jets the other night, I expect them to come out and lay a beating on the Flames.
6-0 Stars.
Hudler with the hat-trick of course.

I'd expect to see the headline of the Hearld on Friday as "Gulutzan relieved of duties"

What does this mean?
Is he coaching him in practice? Are we getting a new goalie coach?

Gulutzan says Tkachuk is day-to-day with a wrist injury. Confirms he won't play tonight. #Flames

Was there concern over Elliots stick or is Millions being cheeky.

I wonder if he's checking to see if Moose's gear is regulation sized? Wiki : Whitmore is serving as a goaltending supervisor for the NHL.

Kay Whitmore is the NHL's goaltending expert. Pretty sure he is in charge of rolling out the new goaltending equipment.
He is probably talking to Elliott about the new equipment.

Must be careful with Tkachuk. Staph infection always a concern with cuts and stitches. Vey to play with a Stajan and Freddie Hamilton

Has there ever been a Dallas - Calgary game that didn't end 2-1 Stars?

I'll be skipping tonight's game simply out of apathy. This year's squad might be the most uninspiring Flames team I've ever watched, and that saddens me. If they can string a couple of wins together and look convincing doing it, I'll start getting interested again. But man, this team is just a big black hole of suck right now. If their special teams don't improve and our top players continue to play like ass, I expect we'll see some changes sooner than later, starting with the coaching staff.
