Actually, this is a legitimate issue. Some parents in the neighbourhood have been filling their kids with such fear and hatred that my kids - who don't watch any TV news - have been picking it up at school and going on and on about Trump for months now. They think he's the bogeyman. And I'm going to have to explain to them tomorrow morning that this person who they've been led to believe is the worst and most dangerous human being in history is now the president of the United States.

So thanks hysterical parents.

Not going to get too far into this, I get your guy's stance on taking shots at the site. I do feel it's wrong that people who do that have a shorter leash than some other truly disruptive posters here.

There are some people here that really add nothing and have avoided bans. Peter could be pretty tiring at times, but he was a pretty solid contributor to the community on a whole.

The guy from the times on PBS while identifying the racial motivation of the base also identified the people who voted in self interest because they believe change is needed. Essentially your Ken Bone voter. Didn't like trump but also wanted coal to survive. Those people are selfish voters but reasonably rational voters.

I think that CP is more than just a Private Discussion Forum. Its an Open Public Forum, and when Mods ban a popular long standing poster, I think it is only right for people to ask questions.
