How do all the people who voted for the brick through the window in this election react in the next election when they realize they got duped by a con man?
I dunno...I expect the next terror attack to result in draconian Patriot Act 3.0 changes to American institutions that will make 2020 look very different.

I have a sick pleasure in how wrong Huff Post was.
This election can be summed up it Nate Silvers last week of posts of A polling error of two percent given the distribution of Clintons votes puts Trump as the favourite in the election. Polling errors of this magnitude regularly occur.
Of all the models his was closest. His answer of we don't know as much as we think we do was right.

This to me is a major backlash result even if Trump doesn't win.
Clearly when the media went after Trump and Clinton went hard after Trump it played right into Trump's anti-establishment narrative, and made him the ultimate underdog.
Clinton had way to much baggage and was too easy to challenge in terms of perceived ethical issues and arrogance issues.
This is a solid condemnation of business as usual in government and honestly both the democrats and republicans need to change their selection processes.
Even with a Clinton win this is a bad night for the democrats.

Trump never showed his taxes. Never proved he gave money to charity. The press never hounded him on this. He lied at will, rarely checked as press laughed they "couldn't keep up with it." I agree, if elected they do deserve this. But. Sad.
Did the media ever figure out all of the conflicts surrounding Trump's businesses, or were they too busy with Hillary's emails?
Getting tech and other companies up here would be nice, but it would require making some concessions on taxes to attract them. Jobs would be nice though, hopefully they make a push. Bring economic diversity through America's #### up!

Was he? 538's projection seems pretty accurate to me. A 1/3 to 1/4 chance of a trump victory. Huffpost and PEC with 99% likelyhoods were wrong but 2 coin flips being tails isn't that unlikely.
