This was always the fear with Clinton as the candidate. Three branches of government in control of the GOP with decades of damage that the democrats will waste time trying to undo.

I guess if anything, it'll be real amusing seeing how Trump will go abouts building his stupid wall.

The Democrats played with fire by nominating Clinton with her baggage over Bernie who would have sucked Trumps 'drain the swamp' energy.
Bernie 2020!!!
Too soon?

I'd support somebody who says some insensitive things from time to time, over somebody that supports killing people. She defends child rapists and laughs about it. No she wasn't court appointed either, actually listen to what she says in those recordings. She was asked and agreed to, she wasn't even practicing law at the time, she was teaching.
|
Nope you are wrong. She was a young, court appointed defender. I saw the prosecutor, at the time, interviewed and he maintained she asked to be excused but that's not how it works. She did her job. She worked for children's rights, women's rights and esp voting rights, civil rights. People died in Bengazi. more people died under Bush. Republicans have had a witch hunt for years. Never found guilty.

It'll keep going up as the west votes come in, only 18% of California is reporting.
So it'll only end up being like a 1.5 or 2% polling error, within the margin of error, but where the votes were killed her, and that's a demography thing. Underperform uneducated whites.. heck if she'd got as many women in Florida as other states she'd won this would be completely different.

Good for the US maybe, but it sure sucks for guys like me who do a lot of work in the USA.
Although I'm pretty heavily involved in coal, so who knows. I was expecting to phase that out over the next 4 years, looks like I may have to re evaluate it.

And Trump isn't going to do a single thing to stop any of it. He's not veto-ing those bills.
And he's going to put justice on the Supreme Court that will go along with those GOP choices.
I've said all along that this goes so far beyond just the person sitting in the White House.

Wars in Europe, a global recession (or worse), the ever-present threat of nuclear annihilation if Trump reads a tweet he doesn't like...
Everything is utterly, irredeemably hopeless. There truly will be no recovering from this.

Not sure why you are arguing the NDP's campaign? The point is many Albertans decided the election in protest, they didn't care what was campaigned.
Many Americans are voting Trump because they are sick of Washington. I think Trump could have run for either party and still won.
It isn't over yet though!
Lol at the 'uneducated' claim. Both sides have the same things going on, to think otherwise is foolish. There is no good guy in this election.

But do they actually do these things? They are now responsible for what they do and they need to get reelected in two years. A few Flint michigans and they lose. The responsibility of government should moderate them. Though I said that about the NDP

If Trump wins, regardless of the underlying issues, this election has validated racism and hate. We have candidates who have lost based on a fraction of the scandals and negative soundbytes that have come from this Trump campaign. It shouldn't even be close. Even if it's only a small percentage of his supporters, those racists now feel vindicated, and that's terrifying.
|
It was a no win situation for them. Either trump wins and validates the bigotry or he loses and millions of angry hill billies take it to the street level. I almost wonder if a trump win at least placates them somewhat like letting a baby have its bottle.
