That and a higher red rural vote than expected which is how he got Florida. Minorities are definitely a factor no matter how you spin it.

There's also the fact that if he wins, the GOP controls the White House, the Senate, and the House.
Literally everything we've accomplished in the last 8 years is gone.
Marriage equality likely goes.
Progress on healthcare goes.
Women's rights regress.
LGBT rights regress.
SCOTUS is going to be INTENSELY conservative for the next 20+ years.
I...I need a Xanax.
I don't think I can deal with this. The ramifications are effing terrifying.
I just don't understand.

Gotta do a minimum of 10 recounts.

People want change but keep sending the same people back to congress? The president doesn't cause change. Congress foments change.

Yeah, I can't believe people are still clinging to the "only racists and misogynists are voting for Trump" schtick.
People were pissed, he tapped into it and it was a large part of his early support. People stuck with it through enough of his crap and here we are. The Popular Vote is pretty much 50/50, I'm sorry, that's not all racists.

Is this really happening?
I've been following this election since the primaries and really believed that in the end, Americans would realize that Hillary, regardless of how you feel about her and the establishment in general is the better and safer choice. I guess I underestimated the stupidity of Americans (some are friends that are living down there).
I like the suggestion of one poster that Canada should start thinking about building a wall. Man this is scary for not only the US but the world. I can't believe this.

I seen this tweet too - can someone explain what exactly she is referring to? I feel I might have missed the meaning, as I don't follow American politics that much. Is it the things Trump has said?

Amazing that Detroit, which has gone through an incredibly difficult time in recent years, has been the victim of national ridicule, and is seen as one of the biggest hell holes in the US, has the chance to save the country...

Neither does anyone. The world is very sad tonight. America is in for a bad decline.

Had an idea!

Sanders had more support from woman among Democrats than Clinton did. Hence the lower woman turnout.
