I thought Laine should have went first overall and he's showing why I was so high on him. His shot is amazing. Best in the NHL.

And lost to the Stanley cup champs and a Rangers team that has averaged over 5 goals a game in their last 6 games. Whats your point?

I don't see the comparisons to Selanne at all. Selanne was fast, Laine is not. Laine has a great shot, Selanne had an ok shot. Other than being from Finland I don't see any similarities in the way they play.

ya, laine is a good skater, and better defensively than people expected, but they're def different players. laine has maybe the 2nd or 3rd best shot in the NHL, a Finnish Brett Hull.

Crappy night on the out of town scoreboard as far as the Flames are concerned.

He definitely has the best wrist shot. Haven't seen him use his slap shot much so not sure about that.

Funny thing is Jets won their last 4 games that actually hurt their draft spot. Lottery system saved us.

Darn. Was hoping to jinx the Canucks win by calling it prematurely. A failed attempt at reverse-psychology.

What an awesome night.

At least one thing worked out, the Oilers had a 3-1 lead in the 2nd period and they blew it. Hagelin made it 3-2 in the 2nd then Malkin tied it in the 3rd and then Sheary scored the GWG with 1:42 in reg time. Yep, the Oilers are no good. The other games had some lopsided scores. Leafs stink, no surprise as the Kings burned them 7-0. Budaj with the 19 save SHUTOUT and his 2nd in a row. The Sharks win 3-0 in Washington, Jones with the 24 save SHUTOUT and that stops the Capitals 5 game winning streak. The Canucks also stop the Rangers 5 game winning streak with a 5-3 win. Lundqvist comes in the Rangers net and lets in 2 goals for the loss. The Jets win 8-2 over the Stars. The other bad news in the western conference had the Predators winning 3-1 over the Senators.
