!!!!! Trump tells Manchester crowd that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have endorsed him. Now Trump is reading a letter from Belichick.

This Trump speech is hilarious.
He read an endorsement letter from Bill Belichick, says "you have dealt with an unbelievable slanted and negative media and come out beautifully". Bill Belichick sounds just like Trump's doctor!
He says Tom Brady called him today and said he voted for him. Brady said earlier today that he hadn't voted yet. Early voting in Massachusetts ended last week.

My family is pretty divided, and it's usually between education levels. I have an aunt wanting to move here if Hillary wins, I guess she doesn't know about Notley and Trudeau.
I voted for Rocky del la Fuente, so everybody's pissed at me.

I would be really interested to see if any majority-Republican delegations in the House would choose Hillary over Trump. There must be a few states where the delegation is pretty close between D's and R's and it would only take one or two defections to flip that state's vote.
Anyone know what the tie-breaking procedure is if the House deadlocks 25-25?
edit: Found it.
12th Amendment:
Quote:
And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President.
|
The Vice-President - in the event of an Electoral College tie - is chosen by the Senate with each member of the Senate getting one vote. Should the Senate flip Dem, this would mean President Tim Kane, if it were to stay Republican we would get President Mike Pence (this would clearly be the Darkest Timeline).
There seems to be some disagreement on what would happen in the event of a 50-50 tie in the Senate on the vote for Vice President with some sources saying Biden would get to cast the tie-breaking vote and others indicating the Succession Act of 1947 would kick in and the Speaker of the House (Paul Ryan) would become President.

I believe in this case the VP would become president. Of course this is just based on season 5 of Veep so may not be correct.

I believe it is:
- VP (Senate selected, as a group of 100 voters) is acting President until the President can get selected.
- Speaker of the House is acting President until either President or VP gets selected (edit - specifically, this will come up if the VP vote is deadlocked at 50-50).

Donald is confused. They voted for him for the Michigan Man of the Year, not this election.

Ann Coulter showing her true colors tonight. What a stupid tweet.
Ann Coulter@AnnCoulter
If only people with at least 4 grandparents born in America were voting, Trump would win in a 50-state landslide.
