Watch it again he definitely got a good slash on his stick on the second attempt.

Kulak needs to be in the lineup every game for the rest of the season.

I'm not saying that at all, I'm just saying he needs to finish the play instead of drifting off his check looking to go up ice.

They've had maybe 2 quality scoring chances the rest of their shots a junior goalie could save, weak perimeter shots. Our one goal is from a lucky bounce. The PP and PK are atrocious. Terrible forechecking, a handful of turnovers, down 3-1, but yeah, we're the better team .

A fadeaway whiff. You can't honestly tell me that's finishing the play. He is clearly skating away from Cogliano when all he had to do was stick with him but he took himself out of position.

He got 100% on that shot. A good slash would have actually affected Cogliano somehow.

Seems like the Flames are more worried about finishing their checks instead of getting in good positioning in the offensive zone. You don't need to finish your check every time if it means you're not going to be in the right position to keep the puck in.

I did, he is clearly skating back towards the corner when he slashes Cogliano. Yeah he skated hard to come back but he gave up on the check and was looking to go up ice.
All I'm saying is I would like him to finish the play, not sure what the issue is.

Do you have a PVR? Jesus so sick of people arguing something that isn't true when they can easily rewind and realize they were wrong.

Totally agree, 5 on 5 they are at best close to the ducks. Unfortunately special teams is a huge part of hockey and the flames are softer than puppy ####.

Look it's not a big deal. The giveaway was the primary mistake but if you're giving Gaudreau points for kind of trying to defend and failing to do so, your standards are too low.

You actually see a guy that skates away before the goal is scored? Not after the goal, after he stick checked him the first time and after he tripped him on his second hack??
