The Blues have a 2-0 lead just 3:35 into the game! Fabbri and Lehtera are the goal scorers.

Both teams took to the ice for the pregame ceremony for Hockey Fights cancer.

1-0 Red Wings. Supposedly the first PP goal Edmonton has given up on the road this year.

The Oilers tie the game 1-1. Pitlick scores, assisted by Lucic after twenty minutes.

Alex Steen just can't seem to bury his 200th career goal. Thought he had it a few days back but it was called back and has just been snakebitten since.

Oilers take the lead thanks to a brutal penalty call on Mike Green. Green was skating by McDavid, there was some incidental contact and McDiver went down like he'd been shot.

I was hoping the Jets/Rangers game meant the Flames game would go without the Hokey Hometown treatment. Sigh.

And now they somehow talk their way out of a too many men penalty. Remenda says " oh what the heck there was only six or seven Oilers on the ice".

I'm already prepared for the oilers to win the Cup, it will happen within the next five years. Sportsnet has a star on a storied team to sell their late night games, wouldnt be surprised if Edmonton and Toronto winning the lottery was part of the TV deal.

No, it's not. McDavid would sold far more games and made the league waaaaay more money already anywhere else. Matthews sure, but McDavid is wasted more in Edmonton than anywhere

-Small city
-Already high hockey engagement
-Already got a new arena
-bad timezone for gaining new eyeballs
-in Canada where engagement is hard to increase

The Devils lead 3-0 and their back up goalie, Keith Kincaid is looking for the shutout and will not get it. The Hurricanes' Nestrasil scores, 3-1 now.

Maybe, but maybe Rogers doesnt invest $5 billion without making sure the next generational talent is on TV every Saturday.

Nugent Hopkins goal is the winner, Oilers win 2-1.

The Blues win 5-1.
