Would like to see Cameron fired tonight. Just an unintelligent hockey mind.

Does anyone have that gif of Eakins turning into Gulutzan stored away anywhere? I got a good chuckle out of that one.

Have yet to see anything to convince me our coaching staff are anything but useless bags of ****. The Flames are screwed.

I'm still going to give it a few more games. If he can lead the troops to victory in Anaheim there has to be some redeeming qualities hidden within.

With Hartley the best players were their best players most nights. It's a total 180 with Gulutzan. I can understand starting a little slow with a new coaching staff but this has been for the most part horrific. It's virtually impossible for Monahan, Gaudreau, Brodie, Gio, and even Hamilton to be much worse than they have been. Has to be a total nightmare for Treliving as he could never expect his new coach to render his best players in the running for the worst players in the entire NHL to start the 2016/17 season. These guys are all on pace for -50 seasons and career low production. Nightmare season so far for the organization. Total nightmare and the worst part is that that most of the decisions the head coach is making are not only backfiring but exploding in his face. Maybe things will get better but this kind of looks like his Stars teams that were good at times, bad at times and mediocre the rest of the time.

Anyone still defending the hiring of GG is delusional.
He was never the choice of the Flames; just the only guy left when they fired Hartley and couldn't' land their choice replacements.
I think back to the threads after Hartley was fired and the crowd the believed Treliving and co knew what they were doing.
I really do hate to say we told so you...

Fire Gulutzan/Give him Coach of the year All Purpose Thread
Even if we do fire Gulutzan, who do you replace him with? Nothing much better out there.
Edit: As per CapFriendly, Gully's contract is only year btw

Please let that be accurate. Then the excuse of not being able to fire him because they don't want to pay him to not coach for multiple years isn't there.

Fire Eakins already.
Where is Mike Keenan when you need him?

I think his track record says that will not be the case, but he has had 12 games, 16 % of the season and there are no signs of this crap getting sorted out. We are past the conversation of missing training camp. And past the conversation of Iggy's slow starts.
Little buddy, you are not this lousy, get your crap together.

Whoa, cowpoke. Gaudreau wishes he was as good as the Flames' best player of the post-Darryl era.
And, yes, where are you Zheleznyi Mike? Your time is nigh...

I don't care one way or another if GG is fired, but if Johnny, Mony and Gio need a Hartely style coach to be successful then they can be traded also.

Really? I have a hard time believing he only accepted a one year deal. Typically they get 2-3 year deals at the minimum.

I don't think you trade your best players because the coaching staff may be failing them. They are responsible for their poor play but at the same time it's the job of the coaching staff to get the best out of them and that's not happening. Like I said before every single one of the team's best players are playing career worst under this new staff. That's no coincidence.

It's worth noting that even Crosby looked incredibly pedestrian under a bad coach last year.
