Well Chicago did put a beating on us the other day and St. Louis destroyed us the week before we beat them.
I chalk it up to a Dead Cat bounce for this team. .You drop a dead cat from a building and it will bounce up a bit.
We are a cap team who has PLENTY of vets. This isn't a rookie based team who is learning the game.
PP,PK are both terrible, coaching decisions and GM decisions have been suspect, our top line is non existent considering the $85 mil investment long term and some of our excellent players in previous years have performed poorly thus far.
The goal is to perform well and be a playoff team, not get destroyed by the elite teams in the league and then pump our own tires when the odd game goes our way, this is a pro hockey club, not a beer league.
