Right now I'm not even mad about the refs not calling penalty on the other team cos the Flames' PP sucks, every time they're on the PP, it kills whatever momentum they generated prior to the power play...

It's incredible that this team is 5-6-1 with Gaudreau and Monahan playing like 3rd liners so far. Watching the depth step up has me very excited for when those two figure out how to play hockey again.
Ferland has especially been fantastic and I hope Brad gets to work on his extension sooner rather than later.
I agree. Ferland has played above expectations so far this year. But let's see this team accomplish a little something before we start handing out more extensions.

Yes let's set ourselves up for yet another offseason where Ferland is the next Bouma or Colborne instead of valuing him reasonably and nipping his next contract in the bud sooner than later.
