another good road period so far for the flames. the sharks broadcast was talking about how much better they've played defensively in this game/last game than last year, and i think i have to agree. in terms of their team play (against some pretty elite teams), they look much better matched than pretty much at any other time in the past few years. just have to hope the scoring will come eventually and that gg keeps these pairings.

Frig Brodie looks like a completely different player on the right side. Creating chances from his backhand passes, spinning away from pursuing defenders and transitioning up ice. Such a difference.
