The more I watch McDavid the less convinced I am he'll be as good as Crosby.

Don't get me wrong, I think he'll probably be the second best right after Crosby, but I think Crosby will have the slight edge on him when their careers are up.

that Rangers offense is incredible. 40 goals in 11 games, not bad.

Talbot did everything in his power to steal a point, score flattered the Oilers

Is Hrudey any better?

I didn't say Remenda is any good. But you will be hard pressed to find someone outside of Calgary who thinks Hrudey is a good color commentator. Its almost as if he was hired to support the flames as he does the local games. Shocker.

I'm outside of Calgary. Hrudey is great. He tends to be optimistic, but that's not a bad thing.

Hrudey cab be a bit of a homer sometimes, but Remenda literally complains about every call that goes against the oilers. It's sad really.

That lack of goal in the last minute was so beautiful. I blame CP for hating the Canucks and Oilers so much.

You just sound wounded and spiteful.

Hrudey works the panel often when the Flames aren't playing and is insightful and unbiased.

There is zero comparison there, other than your gross bias.

Wow Canucks... Pretty hilarious watching the Sedins cycle back and forth behind the net with 6 seconds left in the game instead of trying to score...

Uh yeah much more than any hockey game that's not involving the Flames. NFL is extremely popular in Canada.

They will get considerably better ratings for tonights NFL game than they will get from a Flames regional broadcast.

Wow, Hansen went around Karlsson like he was standing still (because he was). Somebody needs to gif that because it was one of the worst examples of defense from an NHLer I have seen in a long time

being a Canucks fan must be infuriating. Bad GM, bad management, bad roster. Apart from the lottery, this team isn't going to win anything for years.

Put it this way, Weitz, could you honestly imagine Drew Remenda being placed on the main HNIC panel? Of course you couldn't.
