Sorry should have multi-quoted.

Nothing against Halifax as a whole.. but it is a bit of a hole.. oh snap.

As a western conference hockey fan, it's the worst is all I was saying.

I've always found a way to have a good time in Halifax. Ain't nothing like sitting in jail with 4 wingers and your Chief wondering how he's gonna explain this to the "old man"...

Great memories!

Probably won't catch it. Not anticipating good things, but open to being surprised.

Hoping for a positive result, unlike that which they got in Chicago.

Hoping a certain couple of guys show up tonight..

Hi, not that I really care... but isn't it the time to change the avatar?

Go Flames!

These games are usually fun to watch. I expect a win but prepare for a loss.

Now those are defensive pairings I approve of!!!!

Needs less Chaisson on the first line, but oh well.

Much better on D pairs. Forwards not so much. Get Chaisson OFF the first line. Or put Gaudreau-Bennett-Brouwer together.

One step at a time I guess.

Hopefully Johnny and Mony get going and don't need to be split up.

Either Gulutzan reads forums like this or he's a pro at reading the room so to speak.

Or common sense prevails quicker with him than past coaches.

Gaudreau and Monahan have to be able to generate without a top end winger. Switching that up isn't going to solve their woes. That's something they need to figure out.

This is the turnaround that will set the tone for the season bros.

Gio-Brodie will inspire everyone to play better and more confident.

I almost think Gulutzan reads CP sometimes and when enough people bitch and moan, he makes the adjustment. That, or we're just all hockey experts Give yourselves a pat on the back.

Re: Monahan & Gaudreau.

Exactly. Remember last year when it didn't matter who was on their line and they produced? And people were adamant about how Hudler wasn't the straw that stirred that drink. That still applies. Those people are still right. Its on Monahan & Gaudreau to get it going.

They were able to have strong seasons while having the likes of David Jones, a cold Ferland, splitting up Backlund-Frolik to try out Frolik, Hathaway... it's much more likely for them to figure it out once more than it is for them to sputter the whole season because of it.
