Default Need help finding Hip-hop/ Rap song

I know its a longshot but thought I'd try it here anyways. CP seems to be always on the ball.

Anyways the only part of the song I remember is

Just Bounce Bounce Bounce Bounce Bounce...

sounds like bone thugs or something. I've tried lyrics search engine but the only thing I found was R. Kellys Ignition and Master P's Bout it Bout it.

In Bout it Bout it when he says, Bounce Bounce Bounce Bounce Bounce, is similar to the song I'm looking for.

I think I know the song he's talking about, just can't place it.

Is it an old old song?

I agree. I like Mos Def also. I don't "hate" popular rap though. In fact, I prefer going to clubs that spin that type of music, but that's just a personal preference.

On that note, I read a good article earlier this week on The Washington Post... A Black woman's commentary on why hip hop has turned her away.

No, darling, I'm not anti-hip-hop, I told her. And it's true, I still love hip-hop. It's just that our relationship has gotten very complicated.

When those of us who grew up with rap saw signs that it was turning ugly, we turned away.

Of course, the rhymes were sexy, too, part of a long black tradition starting with the post-emancipation blues. It was music that borrowed empathy and passion from exultations of the sacred, to try to score a bit of heaven in secular places.

And if, gradually, we noticed a trend, more violence, more misogyny, more materialism, more hostile sexual stereotyping, a general constricting of subject matter, for a very long time we let it slide.

Last year, talk show host Kelly Ripa gushed to 50 Cent, a former drug dealer turned rapper, about how important his movie
"Get Rich or Die Tryin' " was while black women around the country were left to explain to their own black sons, " Sometimes, darling, black boys get shot nine times and they don't live to brag about it on the mike . "

Talib Kweli is awesome! He's my favourite hip hop artist out there right now.

I am also kind of digging Lupe Fiasco right now.

I found the CD with the song but the songs skips...

ITs goes likes this at the beginning

"Wolf pack killers on the prowl
lemme hear you howl...

get off your ass and Bounce Bounce Bounce Bounce BBOOUUUNNNCCEE..."

bit further it has something like this

"Nine millimeter made of chrome, 15 slugs right to your dome...

Good call!! Lupe is very good. I love his lyrics very invovative rhyem schemes as well.

I dont understand mainstream hiphop I cant understand the appeal when there are artists like Talib, Mos, Lupe, Roots, J5 etc. out there who bring amazing music without the garbage lyrics, drug and degredation of women references and horrible rhyme skills to the table......kids these days!

Well, those extra lyrics made it alot easier. Just typed into google, first one:

Wolfpak
Gangsta Bounce

Wolfpak killahs on the prowl, lemme here ya howl
[Wolf howling noises]
[Chorus]
Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce
Gangsta, gangsta bounce
Bounce
Get off your ass and bounce
Bounce
Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce
Gangsta, gangsta bounce
Bounce
Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce
Bounce
Get off your ass and...
Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce
Bounce
Gangsta, gangsta bounce
Get off your ass and bounce

Leavin all you fools alone, nine millimeter made of chrome
Fifteen slugs right to your dome, wolfpak *****s holla at tha moon
From the wolf to the ???, (Howling), I got a change goin on
At the full moon, got the ***** transformin,
to a psycho mother ****er like ????
I thrive at the moon light, *****s die at the sun light
(Wait till you see me at night)
I see the full moon risin,
metamorphisisin to somethin you despisin, symbolisin
Thug *****s wanna ride, ***** real lives is do or die, ????
Smoke a bunch, ????
***** what, killa instinct,
in a blink of an eye ***** wonder why you had to die
Creepin North, from the very south
***** what you talkin bout, ***** better shut your mouth
You better just bounce

[Chorus]

When the killins right, my *****s gon kill em right,
then climb on the CB (howling)
???? Im a lyrical genie,
got your business outside, got the mother ****ers
true with ???, got a Lamborghini
*****s getting knocked up on weed, tokin up under the trees
Smokin up double leaf, getting ?? with the wind
Dematerialize, look up your ???,
cuz ??? survive like the *****s in the sky
Ride till the ???, leave em off ????, and call it homicide
Lay low, shut him up with the K-O
Sayin, Hey Yo, then Yay Yo
Gotta put them on the payroll,
cuz a ***** will have to do what you say so
They know (They know)
Im a ****in lyrical genius, with ????, I mean this
***** make a lot of ???, bitch jump on my penis
Other scenery, with the ??? man,
got machinery about the stupid g’s,
on the other block, *****s got glocks, with ten shots,
to the door ***** don’t stop,
***** gon drop, just keep your door locked, and...

[Chorus]

***** what you gon do now, when a gangster Negro come for you now
You can go sleepin up in the south side, but
You can run mother****er but you can’t hide (howling)
I’ll put a slug in your head, ***** brain dead
Layin there in your bed, hangin by a thread
So, how’ll you know when I pull the plug,
???? aint gon see nobody no more
And your soul ?? up like a dwarf
***** scream, at the first sight of blood
Wolfpak, gonna stick ya quick, better watch your ****, trick
Cuz we get serious, late-night trains are serious
When I, slip in and out, ?????
Do the gangsta bounce
(Howling)

[Chorus]

***** what, never thought I’d be out the projects
Getting more sex, and a Rolex
From the ???, no raw sex, get ya ?? neck
???
Stay home, trick
Im hungry, creepin slowly, like a ??, feelin lonely
Gonna steal bitch, real quick
And feel it, and still ??? quick
Don’t feel that chick, she aint the real ****
Im the realest, a ***** fearless
Can you feel me, can you hear me
Illimenatin, *****s hatin, I can’t take it
My main ***** coulda made it, but he die

Once again a ***** lay low, sayin hey yo, than the yay yo
