Disappointing. I thought the Flames were the better team for the majority of the game, though. Final score doesn't really reflect the game.
Our best players simply need to step up for us to be a decent to actually good team. That and special teams. Just bone-headed decisions, man. It's been a month now into the season, and the top players are still not showing up for the majority of the games. Come on guys.

Flames thoroughly dominated through 40 minutes. Unfortunately, not capitalizing not heir chances over that span cost them.

Didn't watch the game (was at the non-game of the century between mcdavid and Matthews), but in the last moments Hrudey was saying the flames outplayed the Hawks.... yet after a quick review of comments in game thread it sounds like we were horrible.
Monahan and Brodie. Two worst Flames all night. Monahan did have a few nice shifts defensively but it seems like he's become a non physical Ryan Smyth where all he is good for is going to the net and getting some garbage goals.
