This team is so frustrating. I really had hope that they were turning things around during the 3 game winning streak, but after these last couple of games it's clear that there's something seriously wrong with this team. Our pathetic PP and our offence in general just seems completely inept, and our million-dollar star players are contributing nothing. It's pretty damn worrisome. On paper these guys should be a playoff team. But on the ice, they look more like an AHL squad on most nights.

Agreed. You see flashes of brilliance but when the going gets tough he seems a little sullen, when I think what a group needs is motivation and emotion.
That and the D pairings have me questioning him so far

You're going to have to clear that with ricardowd.
According to him, that is Hamiltons role.

Why NOT put Gio and Brodie back together?
I don't understand forcing the issue on this

Cameron needs to be demoted to the AHL or something. The PP being this putrid is unacceptable.

Help, save, whatever.

On the Hawks feed they showed Tkachuk went to the dressing room for concussion protocol. Seabrook knee hit him in the head at centre ice.

"Goals against and both sides of special teams have got to improve," said Treliving, who noted Gulutzan "definitely wants to do some different things."
"You're not going to have any success in the league when you're giving up three-plus goals a game, and you're sitting in the bottom of the league in both of your special teams. That's just not a recipe for success," Treliving said. "They've spent a lot of time on it in the preseason and will continue to do it, in how we defend as a unit. Our special teams is a critical area for us this year."

Nice shot Gio. Way to put the entire team out of position. Bone headed decisions all over the ice.

What is this nonsense, Gulutzan? Pulling the goalie shorthanded with over three minutes left? Do you want to lose spectacularly in the most pathetic way possible?
