Are they saying that if that puck had crossed the line, they may have counted it even though the whistle went? Elliott may have well given up on it after hearing the whistle, so if that is how they are calling things now, then that's just dumb.

Johnny looks completely ineffective. His stick handling is not creating dangerous chances. Changing his line mates will not correct that.
