Colton Sceviour scores two goals in 23 seconds, Marchessault scores another goal and the Panthers lead 3-0 after twenty minutes!
Gostisbehere has the Flyers up 1-0 after one period.
The Sabres defeat the Jets 3-1. Lehner was the main reason as he stopped 37 shots for the win.

Back to back afternoon wins this weekend has things looking significantly better than 38 hours ago. Okposo looks great so far!
Team just needs to stay afloat until Eichel comes back. Great goalie performances like yesterday and today will help a lot with that.

Goaltending was certainly the difference today with the Jets getting nearly 40 shots. Terrible finish and a good game by Lehner.

LOL, I'm not sure.
He never really got a shot in Tampa to be a top 6 player since they had some firmly established talent in those spots. He was stuck on the 4th line as he was just breaking into the league.
He got a lucky break with Huberdeau going down with an injury, and he's making the most of it playing with two excellent players in Barkov and Jagr. He's got good speed, a good shot, good on the forecheck, and he anticipates the play pretty well. He's not big, but he doesn't play small either.
Either way, I'd pick him up for a pool until Huberdeau gets back. Kid is on fire.

It is strange that the Senators-Oilers and Capitals-Flames games are not being nationally televised. Sportsnet has the channel capacity for it. The two games mentioned could be on Sportsnet One and Sportsnet 360. Those channels are not showing any live programming after the Leafs-Islanders game. Tsawwassen and I sent complaint emails to Rogers about this and received a generic response.

The stinkin' Leafs lose 5-1 and Auston Matthews is the third star? Greiss should have selected as the third star, he faced 34 shots.

The Panthers beat the Red Wings 5-2 and the Rangers have a 4-0 lead after two periods.

Do these dumbarses on Sportsnet Oilers lose their loads every time McDavid sprints around a defenceman, and loses the puck? Sadly my Gamecentre won't let me watch the Sens feed. I never listen to the Oilers crew. Is it always this bad?

Anderson plays lights out to steal one for the Sens.
Gotta feel for the guy after what he has gone through.

What a great moment. Best of luck to him and his wife on their upcoming battle.
Edit: Super-classy of Talbot to stay on the ice to applaud him. Oiler fans were classy too. Great to see

Playing in Canada or the USA doesn't matter, it's just that Sunday night is a national night for Rogers and not showing the Alberta teams is wrong. After the Leafs game SN1 and SN360 had SN Central for 30 minutes and then taped english soccer on SN1 and non-stop highlights On Dec. 4, SN has it right with a national game in the USA and both Alberta teams games nationally afterwards.

It's not just sportsnet guys...in the 'Hawks shutout vs. the Kings, our rookie Motte splits a King D-pair (including Doughty), and blows through, like they were standing still, then makes a wide move to his forehand, but, now in tight quarters with Budaj, doesn't elevate the puck enough to beat him...Kings' announcers: "great move by Motte, but, McDavid would have elevated the puck and finished!"
Good freaking God/Allah/Elvis/Buddah! McJesus is the second coming, even in games that HE DOES NOT APPEAR IN!
In that game, the Kings were flat and listless...and Crawford snuffed the few quality chances that they did generate.
Toews with a PPG, to move off the starting block...Anisimov scores to run his point streak to 7...Hossa with an ENG, for the 3-0 final.
