How broke is Rogers?

I don't know why it bugs me so much but It is so ####ing amateur to have your intermissions in a freaking hallway.
Nothing about it screams professional sports.

Hockey Night in Canada always did the After Hours interviews at the Saddledome there too. It's not a Rogers thing exclusively.

I love the ice level mic. Every once in a while you just hear someone drop a crystal clear f-bomb.

When I'm watching the Flames I expect 100% watchability (standard sportsnet issues aside) I couldn't handle going to watch the game and having it just not work. Especially with any kind of regularity.
Cable is definitely king for sports but even considering the hassle of streaming etc., saving over a grand a year justifies it for me

After Hours it made sense to me. Not during the broadcast. I don't remember seeing this happening untill this year. I don't think any other majour sport does this.

After Hours was always supposed to be an intimate 1 on 1 interview with a player; almost informal. The hallway made it a relaxed hockey environment where you could almost get the know the player in his natural setting.

Having the panel on stools in the bowels of the dome is just plain amateur. What else is new though, right? Stupid Rogers.
