that would've been fun. Would've loved to hear how he flipped his lid over the time out situation and the Bighill hit
also if he ever talked to Whyte, who missed a convert and bungled up the onside kick in the last 30 seconds

Last ever game at Taylor Field this Saturday. Last I heard there were still about 1500 tickets available. I'm surprised. I thought the game would've been sold out months ago. But it's time. That old stadium is a dump.

Not terribly surprising to be honest.
They suck, the weather has been horrible and it is a meaningless game.
and it's a dump. Last time I was there was 2013 GC. Cracks in the cement in the concourse with water leaking from above while you're trying to buy a hot dog and a beer. Classic Taylor field.

Yeah it's a dump alright. I went to my goodbye game last month and I tried to feel sad that it was my last game there.... but I couldn't. It was windy as hell, the concourse and bathrooms were wall-to-wall people, and it wasn't much fun. But having said that, there's of history there. Some people have been sitting in the same seats for 50 years. I just assumed people would be breaking their legs to get tickets so they could say they went to the last game at Taylor Field. People in this city and province are weird, though.

Tough to pick between the two. Singleton made Taylor Reed expendable and he plays very well every game. Daniels just took the WR position and ran away with it. Veteran WR Joe West couldn't go back to the lineup because of Daniels play every game. West might be gone after this season. Daniels makes some highlight reel play pretty much every game and the voters knows him very well.
My pick is Davaris Daniels. They could #1 and #2 rookies in the league.

Gotta think that the Stamps will take a big chunk of the hardware this year from CFL awards
MOP - BLM
MOC - Messam
MOR - Daniels or Singleton
Coach - Dickenson
Finch probably had the special teams award down pat until getting injured and missing the last two games.
Am I forgetting anyone?
With how few sacks the Stamps give up we'll probably have an O-lineman up for an award too

Perhaps not surprisingly, #Als' LB Winston Venable has been fined by the #CFL for his hit on Saskatchewan RB Joe McKnight at game's end.

#CFL has fined Lions LB Adam Bighill for the low hit on #Eskimso QB Mike Reilly from last week. Maas had to use a challenge to reverse call

I will be appealing my fine, and inquiring why no disciplinary action was taken on EDM LG #65 for illegal cut from behind that made me fall

Pedersen says it was a $1000 fine...
Rod Pedersen @rodpedersen
Winston Venable's fine for hit on Joe McKnight: $1000
Venable was also fined in week 7 of this season for spearing BC QB Jonathon Jennings.

Andy Fantuz went down with a knee injury in the 1st half (non-contact, knee just buckled when trying to make a cut). He's not likely to return to tonight's game.

Watch Bailey on Edmonton take out Omara on Hamilton as he gets near Bowman to go for the ball. To me that looks like an illegal interference call and has to be why Reinebold lost his ####.

Big blow for Hamilton as Fantuz is done with a torn ACL
Quote:
Hamilton Tiger-Cats receiver Andy Fantuz has a suspected torn ACL in his left knee and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2016 season, according to multiple sources.
Fantuz was hurt on innocent-looking play with just under 10 minutes to play in the second quarter of the Ticats’ 29-26 loss to the Edmonton Eskimos on Friday night, his left knee buckling as he went to make a cut. Ticat medical staff assessed the injury, which is expected to be confirmed via an MRI sometime next week.

Gonna be tough to do with Matt Nichols as your starting QB.
