Hopefully the Caps play their backup and toast the Soilers 4-0.

I've done the calculations. What you are saying is mathematically impossible.
It's just simple math.

"Edmonton is No Good Episode 4: New Rink, Same Stink"

May the Caps win in EDM tonight and VAN on Saturday. Having collected 2 wins already, they can relax a bit when they face the Flames on Sunday.
Re: Talbot vs Holtby.
EDM: 6 games played, 16 Goals against. WSH: 5 GP, 10 GA. Clearly WSH is better, and that doesn't even count the rest of Holtby's career.

Well of course I'm enjoying the Oilers great start and I'm cautiously optimistic about this year. Id be lying if i told you I wasnt anticipating the collapse, however. Its always in the back of my mind, fueling my nightmares.
I just cant believe how many fans are so quick to forget our hot starts in years past, which have lead to dead last finishes, respectively.
Now I dont expect the Oilers to finish dead last or anything but anyone thats planning the parade or gloating that the Oilers are better than one of the top teams in the league needs a head examination, possibly a lobotomy.
The arrogance bugs me more than you guys, I'm the one who gets lumped up with these clowns.
I think I was enjoying the Flames' start more than the Oilers, especially being a lurker around these parts and reading some of the comments but thats for another day
(Impressive couple wins there for sure though)
That said, Go Oilers!!
Mcdavid leads the league with 179 points and Talbot wins 59 games and the Oilers cruise to their 6th stanley cup win kicking off the dynasty!!!
Good?

They're going to get crushed tonight in Washington, and it's going to be glorious.

Seems natural. Probably the same number of fans that forget the dead last finish by June and proclaim they'll win the Stanley cup in July.

Has any team played fewer road games so far than the Oilers?
What are they at? 2? One in Calgary and the Heritage Classic?
They must have some brutal road trips on the horizon.
