Giordano had a rough game, but he left it all out there in the 3rd and played up and down the ice. This game is not on him.

I would go as far as switching the top 2 lines. At least we get slightly more effort out of the second line. Maybe that will wake them up. For whatever reason our best players are not leading the team.

Just wait for Sutter to become available
His system doesn't really suit the Flames, but oh well. The Flames just need a good coach.

Chiefs, Raptors, Jays, Newcastle United.
I'm screwed everywhere I turn. Relegated soccer team. Alex Smith as the QB of my Chiefs. Raptors wont get past Cleveland. Jays are so close yet so far.

on the plus side, the defensemen activated beautifully in the 3rd once everyone is in scramble mode. we have some of the most mobile, offensively oriented defensemen around and I don't know why the coaching staff aren't abusing them to generate scoring chances.

It's quite pathetic that noone on this team is defending Gaudreau when gets roughed up.

Atrocious. The entire organization should be ashamed.
Hartley took the fall for last year's terrible start and horrible goaltending. This year's start is worse and goalie stats are once again the worst in the league.
The brain trust needs to take a good hard look in the mirror and fix this...now.

Because utilizing your players strengths isn't part of the Glen Gulutzan Super Note Pad Systems.
