There's still the post credits featurette, I suppose
It's one of the least spoilery superhero/tentpole trailers I've seen in a long, long, long time. We literally know nothing about the movie except girl, no mutants, bad guys, old prof x.

Seriously??? Here's what I gathered from the trailer:
Spoiler!
- Logan has gone into seclusion and has done something to suppress his powers;
- An aged and feeble Prof X seeks him out because he's found a young girl who is "like" Logan, is being hunted, and needs his protection;
- Logan reluctantly agrees and he and PX go looking for, and ultimately find the girl;
- Girl manages to get through Logan's defenses, and they bond while on the run;
- They're pursued and ultimately found by the gov't/paramilitary group chasing them, led by a guy with a cyborg arm. . . . allusions to PX being killed, but girl definitely captured;
- Logan reacquires/reawakens his powers in order to rescue girl.
- It being a superhero movie, it's safe to assume he Wolverines enough bad guys to rescue the girl.
How much of the plot is really left to be discovered?
- Logan has gone into seclusion and has done something to suppress his powers; - Actually, if the trailer gives away anything about his situation, it's that all (or most) mutants have died. Also it's believed his powers have dwindled with age. His healing factor isnt as rapid, thus, his scars.
- An aged and feeble Prof X seeks him out because he's found a young girl who is "like" Logan, is being hunted, and needs his protection; - It actually looks more like Prof X lives with Logan in that fallen water tower. Or that Logan found him there.

Other than that you're probably mostly right, but that's a pretty easy story structure to figure out based on pretty much every movie of a similar nature. Doesn't really have much to do with the trailer.

Spoiler!
You're right that I should have said his powers have been suppressed, rather than he's suppressed them. Loose language.
So the one big assumption (that wasn't admitted as such (though I'd put good money on the ending)) was PX tracking him down.
I disagree that the rest is easily guessable without the trailer. If all you were told was that there was a new Wolverine movie, set some years after the last, featuring Logan, PX and a new, young mutant, I doubt you get close to guessing that storyline.

Well, to be fair, these movies are based on comics. This one is based on Old Man Logan. Much will be changed, but generally the main story arc remains the same. If you know much about comic books, you already know what this story is really. It's a road trip, and road trips always have those characters. The one who doesn't want to be there, the one who's making the other go, and the one that cracks the shell of the other (sometimes the latter two are the same person). Combine it with an action movie where a kid has to be protected and yea, you basically have your plot points. The kid is at one point caught and has to be saved, very likely a main character dies trying, main character must get past whatever hang up he has to save the kid, etc..
I think it's less of a "the trailer gave away everything" and more of a "we know these stories" thing.
As far as movie trailers go and if you do NOT know the comic book plot then it's not spoilery whatsoever.
The problem with most of these films is if you know the general structure or background of the story there's not much you can do in the form of spoilers in trailers.
But as far as superhero movie trailers go, that is likely the LEAST spoiler trailer I've seen maybe ever (that's not simply a teaser trailer).

From what I take from the trailer and knowing about the comics, this is loosely based on Old Man Logan and more closely based on
Spoiler!
Death of Wolverine
You can guess what is going to happen, but from what I think I know, Mike F is close like how Greenland is closer to Canada than Denmark.
One very intriguing clip from the trailer though was taken directly from X-Men: The Last Stand, I will leave you all to determine which one that was.
Hmm not sure what clip youre watching, but those scenes all include the girl and Prof X in his water-tower thing. Both pretty clearly from the new film.

Since when does the water tower have a window? But I may also be mistaken I thought there was a clip in Last Stand when Man with guns run into a house Xavier is in.

The one of Xavier with guns pointed at him? Looks vaguely similar to his death scene in The Last Stand, but no it's something new. The girl crawling on the floor immediately before looks like it's from the same scene.
