Now I go to the pub or out in general only a few times a month. Couple of beers and that's about it. Anything above three or four pints and headache city here I come. Drinking bombers or bottles and no biggie.

Too busy with the kids and I guess it's frowned upon to pound a couple of brewskis during your daughter's ballet class.

You seem to have an obcession with what I have posted. Should I notify the police?

Sometimes a good friend will show up at my place during the summer with some beers. If it's a hot day and were playing golf I might to have a few beers and the same applies to a Dawgs baseball game.

Borderline alcoholic? I'm a Saint compared to the hard drinkers in this thread.

Starbucks plastic cups are the greatest things ever invented for the closet public drinker. I sure loves me my mocha latté Frappuccino thingy a Bob drink.

I get it if you do it once in a while but if you don't enjoy the drink, but rather want to be wasted, that's probably not the most healthy thing in the world. I'm not judging though.

I'm usually or used to be that guy. Never been accused of being a lightweight.

I will be putting my drinking legs to the test tomorrow night when I hope to make the WB rue the day they said open bar.

I'm 27. I spent my mid to late teens, as well as my early 20's, drinking and partying heavily. To the point that I would work 6 days a week, or sometimes 7, and go out drinking 4 or 5 times a week. I would finish work around sundown, go home, shower, then party until all hours of the morning. Then I'd be up after only a few hours of sleep for another long day of work.

I haven't had a single drink in over 3 years. Last time I partied it up was when I was flying home from Fort Mac. We arrived at the airport early, though my flight didn't leave until 10. The bar was open so we started drinking. It starts getting blurry at this point, but I know we drank a lot. Miraculously I got on the plane, where myself and a few fellow co-workers proceeded to drink the plane completely dry. He flight was from Ft Mac to Calgary, by the way. Once we landed our group went to the Maple Leaf lounge as we had several hours to kill before our flight to Kelowna. Several more beverages are consumed, and the last thing I remember is a triple Gin with a lime wedge. Next thing I know it's broad daylight and I'm on some sort of bus. I had no idea where I was headed. None of the other bus patrons would answer my questions, not that I blame them. After about an hour of half drunk ramblings and accusations, the bus driver informs me we are headed to Vancouver. The fata? Vancouver is the wrong direction. Turns out my receipt was in my backpack and I was headed to Salmo. I couldn't get on the plane so my friends poured me onto a night bus and sent me home.

To top it all off it was my sons 1st birthday party on the Sunday after I got home. I was supposed to land on Saturday night. The bus got in at 10 and his party was at 11. My wife was less than impressed with me. Haven't had a single drop since.

Drank a lot in college, used to drink a lot in my early 20's when I worked up in the territories. There just wasn't much to do up there and it always seemed like someone wanted to have a drink and bs. Don't drink that often now that I'm a dad. I do enjoy trying different craft beers on my days off but rarely have more than 2. If I do I pay for it the next day. I feel healthier and it's easier on the wallet!

Does anybody not drink? Seems like everyone drinks these days. And I'm not talking about people who drank and then stopped I mean does anybody just not drink to begin with?

I never drank much in college, and really didn't have much use for beer or wine, especially as the latter gives me a terrible headache - especially red. I was always the DD when I go out and still am for the most part.

As I rolled through my mid to late 20's I got into good bourbon, and then figured out which scotches that I like. Now, as I'm just north of 30 I drink more than ever, which for me is nursing a couple of ounces on Friday and Saturday. Then maybe a small pour a couple of times during the week (now, mostly after hockey games).

37, and I've never drank much. The last couple years, I've maybe had a drink or two a year, but prior to that, I had maybe five in my life.

I will usually have one day during the week when I'll have a single beer, and on the weekend I like to have a drink on Friday and a drink on Saturday nights. I'd actually like to drink more, but it doesn't make sense to do so for a variety of reasons. I would have a beer a night if I could, ideally. But I don't do that because I get up too early for work in the mornings, I have a young son, and my wife wouldn't like it. Alcoholism runs in her family, and a part of me wants to not drink much around her for that reason alone.

Usually drink one night per weekend. Normally about 8 or so beers and a couple shots of whatever on a Friday or Saturday night. And then after playing beer league hockey I'll have a couple beers.

I try to employ sober Monday's at home. Usually have between 2-4 beers a day during the week otherwise. Thursday-Saturday I'll drink pretty heavily with my wife or friends, also smoke the devils lettuce on the regular. Early 30s, no kids

In my mid thirties and I've spent the better part of my 20's and early 30's so far drinking regularly. Its a staple of every social circle I'm in. I don't think I hang out with any lightweights.

I'm pretty much at the point of being done with it to a certain degree however. I don't mind a few casual drinks but it too easily gets beyond that in my circles, ends up being a waste of money, bad for my health and ultimately a waste of time too (when you consider hangovers).

I'm looking to bring my overall consumption down substantially in the next little while. Try to get it down to having a couple beers while watching games on the weekend, nothing much more.

I'm 22 and have never had a drink in my life, and I don't plan on ever drinking. It's just never interested me.

I don't drink. I am 48 and have never had a drink; when I was in University, I saw some friends do some really stupid things after drinking, and decided that I didn't want to become like that.
