Exactly. The Flames could finish last by 20 points and would probably still lose the lottery.

Bennett's not the only one. Monahan and Gaudreau may had a goal each, but they've been bad (which is probably an understatement ) to start the season. This team needs them to start producing.

So far this season I'd say the 3 best forwards for the team are Frolik, Backlund and Stajan.

They were doing the same bump back pass to JG to gain entry. Gg seems to think that is still the answer.

At least they've had a few looks. Bennett on the other hand has done nothing at all. Play dying on his stick every time.

we have to rely on BT and GG to turn this thing around. That should inspire some confidence.

I don't think it's for lack of effort and I certainly don't think Monahan and Gaudreau aren't trying because they just got big contracts.

It just seems like they're all thinking too much, and the result is a lack of intensity. Gully better recognize this and get them going and motivated.

I still think it'll come. It's frustrating learning new systems that you have to think about as a player. When it becomes instinctual, the intensity will ramp up. If the season's not lost by then already.

It really does suck to watch though wow.

What has GG done in his career to inspire turn things around type confidence?

The team is utterly lost and have shown absolutely no reason to think they'll find their way "home".

Pathetic effort, I was giving them some rope after playing 3 games in 4 nights. They had time to practice before this one and stunk it up. What a pathetic effort from most of the forwards tonight. I don't think many guys and look themselves in the mirror and can say they gave a good effort. I hope Gio and Brouwer lay into them and start taking control of that room because that was an awful effort. Sooo frustrating to watch them not make a good pass or catch a pass or turn it over, DISAPPOINTING!!!
