Really like what I see in Brouwer night in night out. He brings a lot to the table and really has a lot of tools.

Brodie was fantastic in the OT and he is starting to look like his old self.

Bennett seems to be fighting the puck a lot whenever he has it. That move he likes to make all the time simply isn't working. Glad to see the coaches continue to go to him though.

Hopefully the OT goal will get the top line going

Great pairing. They're killing it so far.

Love the overturn of Frolik's goal. If a ref can say he "meant" to blow the whistle to stop a goal, they should be able to say he blew it too early.

Nice to see Monahan and Gaudreau contribute. We really needed that win.

I though both Monahan and Gaudreau really struggled and hopefully this goal will give them some confidence.

Gaudreau seems to be making very late decisions on the pp trying to find an opening that isn't there instead of making the easy pass back to the point. Not worried about him though as the compete is there and the rest will fall into place.

Honestly I am a little worried Monahan may be injured. Yes, he scored the winner and had a great shift in O.T but I thought he wasn't competing hard enough in regulation and looked way off.

They're learning a new system and hopefully this gives them more confidence and they go on a little win streak here. Winning the next two games will pretty much erase the first two disasters.

Dive or not, I don't think the monahan play was a penalty. Players aren't untouchable because they turn. The opponent has to make sure they don't force them violently or dangerously into the boards but they can still play them physically. Monahan didn't run him, contact was low, and he had almost a perfect tyke lacrosse plant and push. It wasn't remotely violent or dangerous, IMO of course.

Im excited to see Ferland and Tkachuk moving forward this season. Along with Bouma and the additions of Brouwer and Chiasson I think they can give us a physical presence on the wings and that would be really big for this team.

Ya thanks. Wondering what the positive and negative numbers are referring to.

Tkachuk is going to be a hell of a player.

Good to see Ferland looking like his playoffs 2015 self again.

Have the Flames found a hidden gem in Johnson? Another solid game for him.

I hope the team spends tomorrow's practice working on entering the zone on the PP. Having 4 guys standing still at the offensive blue line waiting for the puck carrier is absolutely brutal. Other than that, good win.
That was precisely what drove me crazy all game! Our zone entries on PP were absolutely terrible!

Johnson had a half dozen point blank saves when the game was tied. Looked very steady and calm.

Only let one shot in that he could have saved on the Engelland D gaff. The other goal was a great deflection.

Looking back at the non call in OT, it was actually a really good call.
