That back pass on the zone entry for the power play is...interesting.
I can see that catching opponents off guard once or twice, but I hope that's not our entire pp zone entry strategy.

I've seen some pretty bad Flames PPs over the years, but so far this season puts those other ones to shame with it's ineptitude. All that skill and nothing to show for it. Embarrassing.

I'm not paid any kind of money to watch/play/coach hockey, but I think I figured out the Flames' zone entry strategy.
Skate up the middle, drop pass to the trailing player who attempts to enter the zone 1-on-4. Meanwhile my remaining team mates are motionless at the blueline because they had no speed waiting for the drop pass to be received.
But what do I know? I'm just a dumb fan.
