It also kinda dawned on me that Melania saying Billy Bush egged Trump on to get him to reveal those comments....kinda implies Trump is a beta. Also this tweet is hilarious

Too little too late for the Trump campaign. 538 currently shows Hillary has a 93% of winning Virginia, and she's got a double-digit lead in the latest poll.
I like this chart they have. There's an awful lot of states closer than Virginia.

But certainty is an absurd one.
On the one hand it's Roger Stone, he'll say anything. On the other hand, would it shock anyone if the Trump campaign somehow allowed a loophole in all their shenanigans that made all their NDAs null and void?

Peter12 would be considered a moderate in the US. This is a thread about American politics. I don't think it's fair to characterize him as a wingnut in this particular context, the arguments being presented in that vein are implicitly assuming things about the American political milieu that are simply not true. Not that I agree with him in any respect, but religion is a far more powerful force in America than it is here, so attempts to characterize him as some kind of extremist wacko show more about the posters' ignorance than insight.
No, he wouldn't. He would be considered a conservative. Not a wacko one, but a conservative none the less.

Yup. I think Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Arizona in particular will be fairly close races. Out of those I predict Trump will likely take Ohio and maybe Arizona, but that still won't get him close to 270. His path to the presidency is extremely narrow at this point any way you look at it. Just noticed that Clinton currently has a 6 point lead in the latest Quinnipiac poll out of Florida. That's bad news for Trump.
I'm disappointed in Ohio. Would be interesting if Trump somehow lost Arizona considering that's typically Red.
Yea, I couldn't believe the latest Ohio poll this morning from CNN showing Trump with a 2 point lead, even after his disastrous week. Another new Ohio poll shows them tied. It's insane.

Given his feuding with McCain, it's less shocking.

Also the Senate race is starting to look a little more clear today.
@natesilver538 "Democrats starting to gain a clearer advantage in the Senate, partly as a result of pulling ahead in Nevada. https://t.co/LFwNmPQaoB https://t.co/wz4LGyPb5C"

That might matter a little, but really it's the high Hispanic and Mormon populations that put him in trouble there. Still think he wins it though, but probably a 2 point race when it should be a comfortable win.

I don't know, if you've ever been to Ohio (particularly outside the major cities) them preferring Trump isn't all that surprising. Particularly with the decline in organized labor there over the last couple of decades.

Billy Bush is still a dbag but his lawyer is pretty funny

In response to the released portion of the Melania Trump CNN interview, Bush's lawyer, Marshall Grossman, told The Hollywood Reporter, "And I thought Donald Trump was going to claim he wasn't even on the bus."

I am not sure I agree with this assessment. I feel a bit weird diagnosing his political orientation here but I've watched him post for several years now regarding political and cultural issues and from what I can tell peter appears to occupy an odd kind of Dennis Duffy "Social conservative, Economically liberal" political landscape.
Based on what I can recall from him he is generally in favour of the following:
1) increased penalties/enforcement of drug crime
2) Marriage as defined between a man and a woman
3) Increased development of energy resources
4) More limitations on abortion access
5) Charitable based aid rather than government program aid
6) Opposes Carbon tax/trade initiatives
Dealing with the current US political spectrum/climate I don't believe this puts him as a moderate in the realm of say Mitt Romney who was a Rockefeller Republican before he was a GOP Republican.
Maybe i'm off base, I don't really know the guy.

They just had a segment on CNN about the "voter fraud", including Giuliani getting in on the act. You'd think he'd know better. Anyway, whoever the guy they had on was, he said there have been more than 800 million ballots cast in federal elections since 2001, and they had 35 verified cases of "voter impersonation".
