Well this is just a darn cool show. I thought the arrival of the teleporter guy from the future was interesting from the perspective to see how he's changed - much more serious. Best show show of the fall slate.

Yeah. This show has much more to offer. I thought it a bit weird that SPOILER BELOW!!!!!1!

they showed the villian as the girls dad in the first episode. Autopsy scene was crazy.

I'm not convinced that we know for sure the role the dad is playing in this storyline yet. I have a feeling that we are being set up to believe he's the big bad, but that may not be the case.

what an awesome show, the car crash and time traveler parts were great. i kind of wish i didn't get into the show though and instead waited until the first season had ended so i could just watch the whole thing back to back. i hate waiting week to week

I just watched the show for the first time last night, and while I'm not sure exactly what's going on I have to admit that this is one awesome show. Crap, that's another hour a week I'm going to have to spend in front of the tv.

That cheerleader is hilarious . . . . the very first time you see her in the show she's urging a friend to videotape her as she jumps 200 feet head first off some girders just to break her neck and make a point.

I'm sure there were a lot of teenage girls out there cheering last night when she drove an ******* teenage boy into a brick wall at 100 miles an hour.

Alright everybody!! Let's meet up in Vegas!!! And then save the world!!

I don't think she has... yet.

the girl doing the autopsy left to get a call and she (the cheerleader) got up and ran away. she ran home, changed, and her dad saw her feet were all dirty and she admitted to being out all night with the quarterback. "there is going to be a throwdown when i get home".. was what the dad said

Anyone else notice she only came back to life after the stick was removed from her head?

How is she going to explain the car crash, and the fact that the guy was not driving etc.

This show kicks ass. This episode has solidified it.

^^^I was more impressed by the fact that Hiro was strappin' a sword. Evidently he's much more badass in the future.

I think the only problem with the show is that if you don't know whats going on, you won't be able to fully appreciate it. You can't just tune in and watch an episode etc..

I don't know if you saw the pilot episode, but hiro went 5 weeks into the future and saw doomsday.

If you did, and thats what your refering to, well, I think the fact that Hiro is packing a sword and the politicians brother will have a crazy scar is evident that there probably will be a doomsday part of the show.

Anyone else noting the pop-cult references? Hiro looked a lot like rain man coming down the escalator...

The asians singing karaoke in episode 1 was pertty funny as well.
