What have you liked about them? Aside from his beautiful pass to Jokipakka they've all been in the air or a shot/hardpass that are impossible to control. I think he's better suited playing on the third line and move Backlund with Bennett and Tkachuk and put Brouwer on the first line.

I am dumbfounded Jokipakka and Kulak were ever healthy scratched this season. Our top six D right now looks good.
Forwards aside from Backs Frolik Bouma and Ferly have been bad, looks like the the second night of a B2B

Not sure why everyone is so upset with the play this period?
Good first considering they're on a back to back, not to mention playing a team that hasn't even played yet.
They didn't give up too many quality chances. Pretty good start really.

If the Flames send Grossman to the minors, since it's a cheap one way does his cap still help the Smid LTIR calculation? Or does he have to be in the NHL?

Just a little critique on Bennett, his decision making is too slow right now. He was sharp as a knife in the preseason, I'm curious as to why this has slipped. New system info overload? He's not been smart on the puck at all.

Yeah he looks pretty bad out there especially defensively. Don't think he should play Center this season. Put him with Backlund and let him slowly learn.

It's just an adjustment. I think overall he's Ben fine. And I'd never split Backlund from Frolik. Brouwer would be great on the first line, but he's fine where he is too.

He had no rogue passes and next to no picked off passes, I've always like hard accurate passing. It's not an issue, new team mates just need to learn to accept them. Its all a feeling out phase right now.
