Peak Oiler suck and they still wouldn't have won the draft lottery at that point.

GIF of Tkachuk's slew-foot includes a nice clip of Kassian pulling Tkachuk's hair in the scrum.

What a goof. Hope he doesn't bite anyone tonight.

Sigh. Oilers smugness this time of the year is something I can never stand.

A defencemen finished his check.
I am very bitter and or upset.
This has never happened before.

Yeah, if you Oilers fans showed even a hint of humility, you'd be so much less annoying.
How does a team that has missed the playoffs for a decade have such a smug fan base? It's so uniform. It's like a membership requirement.

Your team's greatest achievement is result of institutional incompetence married with blind luck. Your best off season move was getting rid of two first over all picks.
Think on it.

Sorry, but how is a slew-foot any less scum baggy than hair pulling? I like Tkachuk but I think he should be reined in from doing this kind of embarressing crap. If it had been an Oiler that did this to a Flame, esp. causing injury, we'd be livid, and everyone knows it.

I actually find it hilarious that a simple bodycheck for that team is something to gloat about for their fans. I would hope they realize that literally every d man in the league can throw a bodycheck at some point in a game, some even throw them a couple times a game. I have even seen Grossman throw a couple bodychecks better gif those and throw them up on the oilers message board

It wasn't a slew foot, Tkachuks feet are turning lateral as he was turning into the corner, Davidson engaged him and their feet tangled. It was nothing else, and the only ones pumping that notion are brainless Oiler fans and media.
Anyone who thinks that is a "slew foot" hasn't played a game of hockey and actually had their feet kicked out from under them.
But isn't it nice that the penalty shot McDavid was grifted is never mentioned AT ALL because everyone hates Denis Wideman and wants to see Golden Boy at the Talent Show.

Bruh, this is the thread for making fun of the oilers. I've posted many many times on Tkachuk's undisciplined plays outside of this thread. jets4life or whatever will tell you all about it. Sure Tkachuk seems like a dirty player, but that doesn't mean we don't get to post about Kassian's Burrows-esque fighting techniques.

No Eichel, no Kane, Buffalo has 6 goals on 18 shots.
Welcome back to reality Oiler fans.
