I guess I'm living at the heart of fashion central... and went to that "up scale" mall a week ago... is leg warmers and ripped up jean skirts with right pants that go down to the knees, and hairy legs the new fashion for girls these days? Or guys having pant legs that just hover above their ankles?

The last two times I was in West Ed/Edmonton.. September and Febuary I noticed alot of camo.. I mean tonnes, it was odd. I guess if I lived in Edmonton I would try to blend in too.

True...here is a better comparison:

Calgary Stampede: 1,262,918 (up 1.5%, all time record)

Capital EX: 688,369 (down almost 15%)

Both are from similar sized areas. The difference? Stampede attracts (according to is studies) 30% of it's crowds to the 10 day festival from outside the local area.
