well it may just be me, but when an unknown poster comes onto a forum linking to an unknown website advertising to download free animations that just happen to be .exe's, that sends up warning flags

While i think your intentions are good, you don't see why people wouldn't want to d/l anything from your site?

Whoops, I didn't even think of viruses when I installed his screensaver. Probably should have, though my computer seems fine and the screensaver is pretty cool.

I did look into this when it was first posted (and this time as well), and as was mentioned it's a paid for domain with no ads, and none of the files I tried had viruses and such.

I don't have a problem with someone sharing their stuff here as long as they aren't leveraging our community for personal gain.

EDIT: Though zipping the EXEs so people can scan them first would be a good idea. No real difference if people do a "save as" first, but helps the perception.
