ok, time to exchange Halloween costume ideas
so its close to that time of your again, and i dont really have any good ideas popping out at me. Partly cause im not even a big fan of halloween, or maybe just cause i feel lazy, I figured we can all share some good costumes that we've done or seen, and since most of us don't hang out for it to be produce doubles, noone will be the wiser. Besides, nobody wants to be the ###### who has to throw together some lame zorro costume at the last minute.
I'll start it off.
Last year i went as "stranger with candy", and pretty much acted liked a creepy **** handing out oversized candy to cute girls all night. Nevertheless it was easy as hell to pull off, and i got 2nd prize at the party i was attending. Highly recommended, especially if you can grow a dirty stache, and have some stained sweats.
For you Simpsons fans, many years ago, I went with a piece of paper taped to my shirt with "Idaho" written on it. Also won second prize....and literally took about 5 seconds to make. It's the lazy-mans halloween costume, but those who get it will think its genius.

was a pirate at a hallowe'en party and while in a line was behind a guy dressed as a priest and thought nothing of it until he won - he had a plushtoy little boy, backwards cap and all, sewn into the crotch of his pants!
i suggest pirate.

For the members of CP, I will share my most sacred of all costume ideas (this could go into the lazy category, but I won 1st prize 2 years ago)
Get yourself dressed up like a salt shaker you see at the bars (silver ball cap or touque should do for the top, and a white t-shirt labelled SALT)
Next, get yourself a neato fake gun (Automatic works best, lol)
Presto!!! you are "assault with a deadly weapon!"

I've always wanted to go dressed up as a horse with a large strap-on affixed to the center of my forehead. AKA, the Screwnicorn!
This year I bought a superman costume sized for a fourteen year old and intend to squeeze into it wearing my hockey cup for added bulge.
My friend joe goes as "Soiled Condom Man" every year. It's just a jump-suit with an S scribbled on the front and condom's safety pinned all over it. Very classy.

If you are a big hairy guy, you should dress up like a woman. Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood, Laura Croft, whomever. Trust me, it is really funny. I have never placed lower than third. The more skin the better. Go for the total raunch fest.
If you have a girlfriend, get her to dress up like a lumberjack, or biker, or whatever fits and go as a couple.

My brother-in-law told me that last year the winning costume at some party he went to was from the Holy Grail. The guy was King Arthur and the girl was the one with the "coconuts doing the horse noises"(sheesh you could take those few words a lot of ways).

I went as a policewoman last year. Had loads of fun with that at the bars! Handcuffing cute guys all night... great stuff. If I can't think of anything better, I will just do that again this year.

best costumes I have seen were about 4 guys dressed up as Umpa Lumpas (of however you spell it). My buddy dressed up as a pro ping pong player one year with tight ass shorts, little tee shirt, head and wrist bands but the icing on the cake was the tube sock he rolled up in his shorts...complete with vain
I was an ant a few years ago with pieces of fishing line between my top arms and my "strap-ons" every time a copped a feel it was a triple threat

I went as a SWAT guy for last years halloween.
i'm thinking I'm gonna go as the ghostly toilet seat this year. All you need is a toilet seat and some white sheets taped to it.

my last two years I went as:
Giant present with tag "To: Women, From: God"
The year before I wore overhauls, black shirt, white gloves, cowboy hat, mouse ears, white face outlined in black, black clown nose, and carried around a toy shotgun
I was a Texas Mickey (I'd reccomend putting texas mickey across your chest, I did and people thought it was a hell of an idea).
This year I'm debating going as the chair, like from the Budwiser commercial, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WablWNefNrY
or possibly going as Steve Colbert, we've got the same sarcastic sense of humour, both use your glasses to emphasize points, and both can pull off being a prick really well, lol

A hot blonde girl I know and her boyfriend went as Britney and K-Fed last year. She dragged a doll around with 1 arm and tucked an empty ice cream bucket under her other arm, and tucked a pillow under her tank top. He just tried to dress like a slob and wore one of those stupid hats that he wears.
They won 1st prize.

A couple years ago I won first prize at at Shanks by dressing up as Avril Lavine, I wasn't the only one there even, there were at least two more. Of course, it's much funnier when it's a dude, than if it's a couple girls who actually like Avril Lavine, and are dressing up as an Homage (sp?) to her, rather than mockingly.
I've always wanted to do the Idaho costume too, but could never convince a girl to go as "Floreda" with me. I think that combo would be absolutely killer.

Looking around for a couple ideas....
French Kiss- use aluminum foil and padding to make yourself look like a herseys kiss, then wear a beret.
Chick magnet- attach barbie dolls to your body
Cereal killer- carry around a bunch of mangled and bloodied cereal boxes.
German shepard- Dress up in a white shepherd outfit, with walking stick. Then carry around a german flag

Last year I went as the black guy I worked with. Everyone thought it was hilarious. I still talk to him! Lol. But this year I think I'll have to go as Max Thrust, Canada's next big porn star!

at my party last year, one girl wore brown pants and a brown shirt. then she attached a bunch of stuff, like little toy cars, animals, houses, etc. to herself with string. when people asked her what she was, she would spin around and say "I'm hurricane Katrina!"
not sure if that's in good taste.

No worse than the priest costume from above.
