Not pictured but probably sitting next to him in that clip, McCarthy's henchman, future mob lawyer, political fixer and all-around creep Roy Cohn. He would later represent and apparently become something of a mentor to a young Donald Trump.

I was just thinking, "If this is the nuclear strike meant to obliterate the last vestiges of Trump's campaign, isn't it a bit early?" Not that it probably matters. But if there's actually worse to come, maybe there will be one of these a week until the election...

During a panel discussion on "CNN Tonight" with Don Lemon, Pierson responded to reports that the women had accused Trump of inappropriately touching them in separate incidents spanning several decades.
“Just to answer the question on why they would come out, Don, because 15 minutes of fame,” she said.
On CNN: "One high-ranking source within the campaign had similarly told CNNMoney that "NYT editors, reporters, politically motivated accusers better lawyer up."
Trump will threaten to and/or sue the women to discourage any other women from coming forward (I predict someone will come forward and offer to pay their legal fees).
And it's already started, Trump will do exactly what he's accused Hillary of doing and drag every minute detail of these women's lives through the mud.
