I understand we are only 2/3 of the way through game 1, but I am not liking the decision making of our new coach....idiotic pairings and Wideman on 4on4, really?

Not to pile on Elliot as it is one game and all but he has been quite underwhelming thus far. D pairing are garbage and need adjusting quick. Some good things but definitely need to tighten up.
Not to go all Oiler here and pine for the past but I really do miss how much of a calming influence Kipper was. You just expected the save. I find each shot against the past few years I actually expect it to go in....Likely because it has. Hopefully Elliot can just be the goalie he was last year and is likely capable of.
Man I can't stand the Oilers....yuck.
