Trump says more crap than most people, but the written transcripts of what he says isn't exactly fair. People don't realize just how lazy, inconsistent and grammatically incorrect we all are when speaking and it really becomes apparent when you transcribe speech. I'm sure that you could transcribe Hillary and find some really stupid things as well. Our brains are really great at figuring out the gist of speech and disregarding the crap that actually doesn't make sense.

Nonetheless, it was catchy enough that it caught on with the alt-right, as a self-identifier. But now that Trump has sunk in the polls while taking such a hit on social issues, that phrase is really resonating and becoming an increasingly effective wedge word between the alt-right crowd and moderate republicans.
I'll be very curious to see how intentional all of that was once we start to hear post-election behind-the-scenes... did they float it out there in anticipation of it being a label that would be used increasingly as the social/cultural issues that came up over the following month? Or was it more of a fortunate accident that the word came to be as successful for them as it was.

I don't think grammar is the focus of people's concerns.

Trump talks as incoherently as Palin. He is the best at incoherence, the best, believe me, people have told me that, many people, ISIS, Hillary should be in jail, smart people, the smartest, I've got the smartest people working for me, but I'm smart, and have a ISIS great temperament.

Oh, I agree. It's nonsensical bullcrap, but I believe there is some scientific reason for why some people are accepting his nonsense. It's like when you meet someone you find really inspiring in person, then only after leaving do you realize nothing they said actually made sense. I'm just fascinated by the psychology at play.

It's like a verbal shell game. Except all the shells have ISIS underneath them and no matter what one you pick they take over the USA.

The beginning of Obama's inaugural address, in 2009.
"My fellow citizens:
I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.
Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because We the People have remained faithful to the ideals of our forbearers, and true to our founding documents.
So it has been. So it must be with this generation of Americans.
That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet."

Hillary from yesterday at Ohio State
"“It is a glorious night here at the university, in Columbus, in the great state of Ohio. And I am thrilled to be here with all of you. And I want to thank Tony for his introduction. He made the greatest case against my opponent, didn’t he? Thank you, Tony. And thanks to Mayor Ginther and Congresswoman Beatty and to my great friend, your former governor, and with your help, the next senator, Ted Strickland.
Any of you see that debate last night? I’ll tell you what, I’m not sure you’ll ever see anything like that again. At least I hope you won’t. It was such a clear display of what’s at stake in this election. And I am thrilled to have the chance to talk with all of you about what we can do together, because I truly believe we are stronger together. To move our country forward.
Now, the one thing I thought about last night and said was, as I was standing there on the stage with my opponent, was to remember what Michelle Obama had said. To paraphrase her, one of us went low and one of us went high. I want you to understand, I want to be a president for all Americans. I think the American dream is big enough for everybody. And I am honored to have support, not just from Democrats, but from independents and Republicans, because we’ve got to pull this country together if we’re going to move into the future together, creating what we need for ourselves and our children.
Now, I got to tell you, tomorrow is a big day in Ohio for this election because tomorrow, October 11th, is the last day to register in Ohio. And I hope every one of you will take your phones out, go to iwillvote.com, to confirm that you are registered. Because we want everybody to vote and we particularly want young people to vote because this is your election more than anybody else’s."

Stop grading this fool on a curve. He's running for President. There is no curve.

When do Trump's comments go over the line into slander? Are they already there? Giving someone the "Crooked" label is one (childish) thing, but saying she SHOULD be in jail is calling her a criminal.
Politics can be dirty, yes, but outright accusing your opponent of crimes is more along the lines of Joe Stalin than anything that belongs in a democracy.

Holy crap, that site will give you a headache.
but anyways, speaking of blacks and latinos for Trump...
Latinos for Trump founder Marco Gutierrez is a real estate scammer and a serial bankruptcy filer
Trump surrogate Pastor Mark Burns lied about having a Bachelor of Science degree and being in the army reserve for six years

Two women come forward with accusations
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/13/us...ump-women.html
Quote:
In a phone interview on Tuesday night, a highly agitated Mr. Trump denied every one of the women’s claims.
“None of this ever took place,” said Mr. Trump, who began shouting at The Times reporter who was questioning him. He said that The Times was making up the allegations to hurt him and that he would sue the news organization if it reported them.
“You are a disgusting human being,” he told the reporter as she questioned him about the women’s claims.
Asked whether he had ever done any of the kissing or groping that he had described on the recording, Mr. Trump was once again insistent: “I don’t do it. I don’t do it. It was locker room talk.”
|
So when Trump brings forward Bill's accusers for political gain it's fine, but when a newspaper reports on Trump's accusers they're disgusting and he'll sue them. Ok.

"We all are"? No, you are confusing "giving a speech" with "speaking". Many, many people can speak at length on subjects they are familiar with* without making the kind of word goulash Trump specializes in; especially when they've written out a speech beforehand and memorized it, but even extemporaneously.
I've heard drunks at the microphone during a wedding dinner that speak more fluidly and grammatically than Trump. He is very good at emoting and sounding *like* he's saying something, I'll give him that. He's the Michael Bay of speech-making - there's plenty of loud noises and eye-catching visuals to mask the vapidity of the product.
*Which is part of the problem, Trump being an ignorant fool whose breadth of knowledge outside the fields of chicanery and beauty contestant fondling is non-existent.
