Watching the replay this morning, after the ball hit the wall Almora gave up on the play. But Crawford had tagged at 2nd. If Almora retrieves the ball does Crawford score?

Dodgers offense quickly up to bail him out. Looking like this could be a 7-6 game.

Wow Puig got shafted on that check swing call. Terrible. Clearly held up.

Murph continuing to do what he did last postseason and this season.

Can't believe the Mets let him walk for free and to a rival no less.

Anyone know why some guys on the Cubs wear that batting helmet that covers their jaw?

It's obvious why they would (safety) but was there some incident that compelled them to wear it? Nobody else does.

EDIT: Oh right, I have the internet too!

This might have something to do with it:

http://www.sbnation.com/2011/5/21/21...-head-hospital

That guy (Marlon Byrd) is no longer on the team though, and was apparently suspended for 162 games in June after testing positive for PEDs a second time.

^^^ Heyward broke his jaw back in 2013 when Niese from the Mets had a fastball get away from him. He's been wearing that helmet ever since and I assume it's just a comfort thing now.

The other guys I'm not sure although you're probably right, they just feel safer wearing it.

This Cubs 2B Baez is something else. Two incredible plays back to back.

This series has had a lot of pitcher RBIs.
