I would love for Ferland to get an extented look on the first line. I am also one of his biggest critics.

Is he a fourth line plug or a power forward with a scoring touch? He can skate I will give him that. At times he is in perfect position too. Right now he lacks finish. Does not finish! Would love to see him get ten games with the top line. He looked good in camp. Yet again no finish.

No one else earned this chance in camp. Granted I think alot of our young guys played with plugs. Yet I thought Ferland was the best in camp this year. By a long shot!

At worst a replacement for Bollig. With alot more brains.

We dont need an allstar to play right wing with Johnny and Monny, we need a 40 point guy.

Plug or not we need to know who Ferland is!

I dont think he is capable of what I ask, yet would like to see him given a chance. I would love to be wrong!

If you believe in the advanced stats he was in the top 5 for the worst possession players in the NHL last year.

I'm baffled that he got more than league minimum. I wonder if the Flames were going to offer him something so Dallas had to up the contract?

Good for him though, glad the Flames managed to showcase a veteran well enough to earn a contract. They've definitely given more opportunity to the PTO's than most other teams did. I consider that a pretty classy move by the organization.

The only thing Korpikoski is more valuable than Stajan is his skating. Everywhere else, he's slightly worse, even given as bad as Stajan is at this point.

Korpikoski is the Finnish version of T.J. Galiardi. Skate very fast but accomplish NOTHING else.
