Ouch. Someone in this house is really not going to be happy to hear the Omanyte nest is done. I'm down to needing 4 candies, with him as my buddy, but the gf also has the same 141 in Pokedex, but is 36 candies short and was really hoping to cash in on this.

Possible Squirtle nest in Shouldice. Also, I think it looks like it maybe harder to catch them again, it seems like they pop out of the balls right away when you catch them.

U can get coins by beating gyms and collecting defender points. I got 3 bag upgrades and 3 storage updates without paying a cent

Just delete stuff you don't need. If you're not constantly attacking gyms rid yourself off the majority of potions.

Ya I only have the game for my daughter who just likes to collect Pokémon. We don't do any gym battles or anything

So delete all potions and revives and you will have lots of room again

Not sure how useful this is. It's basically just luck seeing one on the scanner, although now supposedly Niantic is blocking them again too..

Not sure if this is the same but I caught my first Dragonite last week because I opened fastpokemap on the way back to work since there was nothing around. It said that there was one about a block away but it did not show on my radar at all. I started walking towards where it said it was and it never did show on my radar. I just thought it was a glitch. Anyways 14 raspberries, 25 Ultra balls and about 15 great balls later I got my first Dragonite.
If it is because they are blocking them from showing on the radar then that is crap.

I find it mostly works. Sometimes it will not load anything, the radar icon will not even spin. Other times it will load pokemon but it is slow, kind of like it will load some, then a few more, then a few more etc. but overall it seems to be ok.

According to the developer's twitter, it's currently operating at about 20% of normal, but starting Saturday it should be back to its original functionality.
Gotta captcha them all

I think Niantic would better serve players by developing their own in game tracking system instead of allocating resources to curb third party apps. How about hiring the guy's defeating their 'anti-cheat' measures. Niantic's vision always including some kind of ability to track the mons, it seems to me. Regardless, do it right and those apps will pretty much go away on their own.

It's ridiculous. I can't even find the random pidgey by my house, let alone when there is one dragonite spawn a day in any one quadrant of the city. They either need to vastly improve the tracker or have much more predictable spawns like the gameboy games. Or even rewards like walking 10km triggers a rare spawn.

I still really enjoy playing but at this point with the cold weather, barely anyone luring anymore, and the horribly slow rate of tracking (you need to run slower than 5:40 min per km), I find I'm just not able to play unless I'm driving spot to spot...

PokeExplorer app hasn't shown anything outside of downtown for a couple days now.

I've just noticed I have about 8 Pokemon types showing as seen in my Pokedex all of a sudden, that I know I haven't seen - unless it's changed to show things as seen if you view them in a gym?

So I deleted a bunch of stuff and was able to get new items at a pokestop finally. However when a Pokémon appeared it still said my items were full.

Any pokemon you see in a gym are added to your pokedex now

So if I run across a bot player (or international traveler I guess) who caught a Mr Mime, it shows as me missing one in my Pokedex?
Don't think I like that very much.

Evolved Omastar. Pokedex 142. Won't be heading overseas, so I guess nothing new to catch for quite some time now. Which is OK. It's less interesting playing in the snow.

You will be able to transfer and/or evolve some Pokémon. Evolving may get you some new ones. Click Pokémon and sort by number. Keep only the best one or two of each type. Evolve the best ones to make new Pokémon
