It's not really a "private tape". He was mic'd and talking to the host of an entertainment news program. Did he know the mic was on? Was it supposed to be on? Who knows. But he knew he had a mic on his collar (live or not) and still started going off like this.

It won't help him to go down that path and say that the former president was just as lewd in private chats as he is (and he's the husband of the other candidate of course, so what does that say) , but it probably won't hurt him at this point either.Press keeps trying to sensationalize each and everything they he's done and turn it against him,but the support numbers are still there.
Not a normal election, not a normal candidate, and his bluntness and faults may be more relateable to many then Clinton as a robotic, manufactured product of the political system over the past 3 decades. And votes going his way are more for complete lack of trust in Clinton then it is in him and he seems to have said as much in the article above.
Sad all around.

Trump wants to accuse Hillary of being part of the reason Bill cheated in the first place. Wants to paint her as a cold shrew etc.
Quote:
That Trump had considered such an attack was more fully fleshed out by his surrogates and by the candidate himself in an array of TV news interviews Tuesday morning. The GOP nominee told Fox News that “I really eased up because I didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings” in Monday night’s debate, and that “I may hit her harder in certain ways” in future debates.
“I think that if you look at Hillary Clinton's background and if you look at her being an enabler, really, in the '90s and really attacking these women, it goes against everything that she now tries to spout as a candidate for president,” Bossie said on Fox News’s “Fox and Friends” Wednesday morning. “She'll say and do anything. Those are Barack Obama's words, not mine. She'll say and do anything to become president of the United States. And I think we're seeing that now.”
|
That's from Trumps campaign.

It was defensible because the team only punished him for a couple of games. Once it became clear they had to hand down a harsher punishment they did, but it's not like without the video they viewed his actions as that egregious.

it's private when it's not part of the show and only come out 11 years later. Heck Billy Bush might get fired over this (11 years later).

There were 5 other people on the bus with him.
That is trump dead sober, in the middle of the day, with people and cameras around.
People have known this about Trump since before he got the nomination. It was one of the reasons him getting the nomination in the first place was so appalling.
All the republicans crying foul and asking him to drop out are hoping he moves on before the entire GOP establishment is forced to renounced him in every local and state race they are in or risk losing.
This is the bed they made and now they have to lay in it.

I'm sure Trump is happy that the ratings could improve for the debate tomorrow because of his stupidity. He can then Tweet about all the attention.

You're bending over backwards here.
This was recorded during a public appearance for a nationally televised interview and TV show appearance.
This couldn't be any less private if it was on the freakin' Truman Show.

|
I think the train derailed a while ago. People need to realize that 40+% of voters who are voting for the two major parties would vote Republican if Satan was their candidate. Nothing Trump says or does is going to matter to those people. As long as he has the R next to his name he's got a baseline of 40% or so.
Combine that with the fact that he's up against (rightly or wrongly) the 2nd least liked candidate in history and his numbers are already bordering on catastrophe, and that's without the polls reflecting his latest couple of scandals which will drive his numbers down even further.

At least now we know he's not being hypocritical when he calls for stop and frisk. It's not just part of his platform, it's something he actively practices in his personal life.

Well, historically, the Clinton's and Trump have been friends. Chelsea & Ivanka very good friends.
Some conspiracy theorists believe the Clinton's are paying off Trump to run for President so Hillary can essentially get guaranteed a Presidency.
For this video to be 'leaked' right before the debate is very suspecious.

Would you be one of those "conspiracy theorists?" I'm not sure I'd call them "friends." But if you're riding this theory then I guess you're not a Trump guy after all.
In American politics, it's pretty typical for October Surprises before the 2nd or 3rd debates. The recent Wiki leaks was the other attempt. That's what it is. Trump said those things. It's not made up. The only thing suspect is the American voter still supporting such a deplorable candidate.

I'm not a "Trump Guy" but I support him over Hillary Clinton. If you deviate away from mainstream media articles and tv shows and delve deeper into the Labyrinth of Clinton Family Corruption, Rape, Murder, Intimidation, Drugs then you will see that she and her husband are far worse people than Trump.
The Republican Party and Democractic Party are equally corrupt as a whole. Bush was a war monger & so was Obama.
The one candidate I thought was probably the best person to ever run for the GOP nomination was Ron Paul. Everything about him seemed so right.

So, the guy was like a lot of powerful men, including Bill Clinton. He fell d!ck first into someone who wasn't his wife. If we were putting a red mark on everyone who cheats there'd be a mosaic of red around as you walked down the street.
