Absolutley! There is nothing like a playoff footabll game! We need as many poeple out there as possible! This game is against the Riders and we need to shut them down. All these people from saskatchewan living here, we need to show them what Calgary fans are all about.
Buy a ticket, bring your friends and have a great time in an old fashioned football showdown in November!
Let's go Stamps!

LOL, I'll probably be going since I havent been to a Stamps game yet this year, but this is the closest the Riders are ever going to get to a home playoff game. Their fans will be coming en masse.

looking at the 'Rider message board, they're planning their trip already (they tend to get section M or N filled up).
Ted Hellard was saying on gsg that approximately 21k have been sold already (bought with season tickets)...so the Stamps contingent should be pretty good. Compared to when the Stamps clinched the home game a week before the game, a grand total of zero tickets were sold...so it's a better start, and several weeks to market the game and get people out there.

The Stampeders need your support, and need you guys being loud and proud against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
I realize that a lot of you aren't hardcores, but can be fans, but if you're on the fence as to whether or not to be there - GO! There's NOTHING like a great football game in November with everything on the line. You won't regret it - besides, I want the as few Rider fans in the stands as possible.
Tickets go on sale October 18th or 19th I believe (when the season ticket holder renewal date has passed).
|
Good luck with that - 8-10,000 Rider fans there guaranteed. Plus, from what I recall from a few posts here last year, seems like most of the casual Stamps fans don't care too much for the cold weather games. Good on ya calf for trying to rally them out - hopefully the western semi can sell out this year...
That said, get out to McMahon Rider Priders on November 5th and turn it into a home game for the green and white!!!!

What time does it get started?
If there are tickets left I might be interested in going! I have a buddy from Sask. that loves the Riders. This one would be a good game to go to with him.

they'll go alright...all the way back home to Regina (or prison).
Time for another Avy Bet - new Avy AND signature line for the loser for each week the winner's team advances (2 weeks after the team wins the Grey Cup, if that happens).
Edit: your ass does not belong in McMahon on November 5th

It's on!
The only way they will be returning to Regina is with a shiny Grey Cup.
That stadium will be Riderville on November 5!

i would be all over that but unfortunatly im a 7 hour plane ride away......
football play off games are always intense and alot of fun to watch. and playing the riders is just a bonus, theres a good chance you will see as much action in the stands as on the field
but he careful those banjo playing hicks are sneaky....jj

Which side are we talking about again?
Actually, this sounds like a good idea. The game should be great and Rider fans are often entertaining (if a bit obnoxious at times). I will go and stay until my toes fall off.
