Between Matthews, Nylander and Mariner they have some promising talent up front. Picking up a guy like Yakupov on the waiver wire would be an astute move for any team. However, if they did so the Leafs to me look like they´d be building a lot like the Oilers D: heavy on forwards. Reilley is a good dman but they don´t have much in net (Andersen we´ll have to see) and on D coming up to support those forwards in the medium and long term.

Sure. If you bury your head in the (insert body part) of a lady friend who "just happens" to have stuck some blow down there.....I'm sure it happens all the time to be perfectly honest.

Why does that Sportsnet video of the new Oilers hole have Stanley Cups in the background? Are those the cups of Christmas past? They look like actual replicas?

This is nothing new. The Oilers have had the same Stanley Cup exhibit at the entrance of their dressing room since major renovations at Rexall Place in 2007. It's a fantastic gimmick which features five replica Stanley Cups and an empty space just waiting for the elusive #6. The Oilers have been translating their pretentiousness and entitlement into architecture and interior design for a decade.

Does every team get a replica to keep when they win, or is this just the Oilers being "special"?

Cup winners get commemorative mini-cups to keep. They're not full size. Pretty sure the Flames have one as well.

Unlike the Oilers the Flames are not parading theirs around as if any one cares about what happened nearly 30-years ago.
