You can just spam threads and create a bunch of polls and useless threads and get on many people's nerves and suddenly find yourself with tons of pull, support and appearently now the right to verify sources..?
It will get your cp "status" bumped up because you've contributed... I'm not sure exactly but it has worked for others.

Are you talking about westjet flights? You know they flew a private plane there

Richard Hotchkiss runs a private charter jet company (and is a pilot himself). I know the Hotchkiss family is no longer involved but I imagine they have ties like that. Plus I think CNRL has its own planes, though I'm not sure if they're jets.

Richard has owned the company himself, I don't recall anytime where his family was involved in sunwest, but I could be wrong.
Sunwest maintains some of CNRL aircraft but further, the Flames charter smaller aircraft through Sunwest almost weekly.

And 6 is great. It's a long freakin time and takes him through most of his prime. Sure it only buys 1 UFA year but the fact that it's 5 RFA years instead of the traditional 4 kinda skews that. As does the fact that he's already 23.
6 x $6.75M

Next to the obvious 5 year deal 6 is the absolute WORST result in this negotiation. Perhaps if the Flames window was clearly open it would be okay but the fact is it may take 2 seasons before this team is ready to really go on a run and Johnny has only 4 years left. It leaves the Flames with the option of trying to resign Johnny for $9-$10M at that point or trade him for the typical rental package at the deadline leaving only 5 years to try and win. If you are worried about expiring the same time as Monahan then sign him for 8 years.

I think you misunderstood - I know RH owns and runs Sunwest (and its predecessor Home Aviation). By family ties I mean the family didn't have any ownership stake in the Flames any more, but I was guessing they are "friends" in that they'd stand to get the charter business.

I mentioned this a few weeks ago. Tracking his continental movement via flight list information is getting stupidly creepy

A six year deal, if the cap hit isn't going to be 7+, is probably very attractive for Gaudreau as it puts him on the right side of 30 for his 6 yr 60 million deal.
So if the flames are looking in the 6.3-6.5 range 6 years is all they will get.

A few of the owners have interests in a private charter company.

Manhattanboy... if you live in Manhattan and haven't taken a sick day to sit out front of Lewis Gross's office we'll be disappointed.

Lol I'm pretty sure we will be fine if we over pay by 500k.
Or are you still convinced the Flames weren't competitive all these years with Iginla because we paid him $7 million?
